Only if it's top 8 (unlikely). |
It's the other way around. New Orleans gets our pick UNLESS it's a top 8, which, as you note, is unlikely. So even if we drop out of the playoffs, the likelihood of us keeping our pick is tiny. |

| Wolverine is correct regarding pick protection. Lakers 2021 pick goes to Pelicans if it’s a top 8 pick. If it doesn’t convey this year it is unprotected in 2022. |
