Dwight didn’t wait for the lakers
We couldn’t trade for CP3 because the contract doesn’t match
ibaka is sitting nicely on the clipper bench while missed a lot of games
Crowder had ONE (bleep) good game and it was tonight
Obviously signing rondo for 7 mil was not an option because we would have to use MLE
Probably make a run at batum, but not sure he is coming

I think the running theory was Ibaka was going to the Clips (KL connection) and may try to mess with the Lakers just to string them along. So that's off.
Crowder I cannot stand - but if he was on our team? That dude plays hard, physical, D. His 3 shot is inconsistent, but when on, it's a PITA for an opposing team. He was terrible the first 3 games this series...but boy did he heat up as the series went along.
Pretty sure we Couldnt have gotten CP3...he has an enormous contract. Would have required some major roster upheaval, more so than was done.
Dwight - yea, would have really liked him at Center instead of the revolving door we got as the year went on. Would not have made a difference, however, in this series, where AD was hurt and the 3 shot was just dead. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. Like others said we just needed health, although I think we would’ve benefited in this series if we had Lowry, kind of wish the Lakers had made that trade
Kept the 2020 1st rounder that would become Jaden McDaniels instead of the Dennis trade, as Lakers would have that potential wing stopper and real trade asset too. Find another way to trade Green and another asset for a better fit if possible.

I think we had a major issue matching salaries. That’s why the Suns had to trade out so many players. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Green actually had a rebound year this season and was the player we thought we were signing originally... 40%+ from three and elite defense. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Should have just ran it back & added an additional shooter. _________________ Everyting negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise.

And he certainly won’t get the same open looks if lebron and AD went down with injuries this year.

Green was not terrible in Los Angeles.
I don’t know how that narrative started, but the Lakers don’t win a title without Green. He made timely shots and was a constant three point threat.
The Lakers missed Green desperately this season. It was a big big mistake trading him.

He played really well with the Sixers, but I had no faith and convinced no chance Green would shoot this well if he stayed as a Laker. Even when he was dismal in the playoffs as a shooter, he was still an effective defender. By the end of the playoffs, he was shooting worse than 30% from the field overall and he needed a change of scenery and Lakers needed another scorer which Dennis was supposed to be.

He shot 37% from three last season… which pretty much matches Schroeder’s best season.
If we were trading for Schroder because we thought he would be a better 3 point shooter, we were very wrong.
I think Rob traded for Dennis to help ease the perimeter scoring load. Danny wouldn’t have mattered without LBJ/AD. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Can we work a sign and trade with DS this off-season for Lowry? I am sure they won’t ask for THT this time
Why would the Raptors want to pay Dennis his stupid contract demand?
There are 12 teams with more the 27 mil in cap space this off season. What you think is “stupid” doesn’t mean other teams value him the Same. If Gallo got 22 mil, DS can get 22 mil with no issues. The salary cap is only going up

Why the unusually bad shooting year with us and when he LeBron and AD to draw attention away from him? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I would have ran it back and prayed for good health. During the season, only move I’d make is offer the Rockets whatever they wanted sans AD and LBJ for Harden.

Ujiri didn't want KCP or DS in the deal, he wanted THT.
Lowry is an UFA now, I know it is a long shot.
We will have interesting off season with 12 teams have more than 27 mil in cap space and even more teams with more than 15
