What was his schtick again? I remember him having a habit that got called out all the time and I remember myself doing it, but I forgot what he did. I vaguely recall he would take one stance and then pretend he didn't while he adopted a new stance that better fit the goings-on in Lakerland. Anyone?

He just had outrageous takes, but damnit they were glorious.

He was horrible at writing. He didn't use caps or paragraphs. Instead of I he'd use i. I believe PnP is here incognito.

I haven’t noticed him, if he was here, he would be highly critical of Lebron’s post game or lack thereof.

Lavar Ball took his schtick, he would beat mjay 1on1 in the post.

"Link? To hell with a link! I don't need a link, I know basketball!"

That was PnP's default response when someone challenged one of his ridiculous assertions.

Could you please elaborate for those of use that are very curious but dont know what you are talking about?

If my memory serves me Sky stopped posting after he made a wager with another poster on the number of wins by the Lakers in a season. They bet their accounts. Sky won the bet and the other poster welched on his bet after some posters said oh "please don't leave". The loser still posts on this forum to this day and is "well respected" by some . Shortly thereafter Sky stopped posting.

Sky hated Fisher with the heat of a thousand Suns and got routinely challenged about that. I think where he was in life he just didn’t need the aggravation. I’m not going to share his personal info but I’ve kept up with him some off board and last I heard he is alive and well and as delightfully sky as ever.

I remember I used to be on AOL back in the days. Many great posters back then!

Me and CabinCreek go back to the AOL days and a few others. We used to have a blast. Times have changed and so have the posters but I am still around..

Amen. Remember you and a few others from the AOL days (Lberg Jr., LAKERROD come to mind as well).

Been awesome to be a part of this community for almost two decades now - through the tough times and great ones.

Thaat's one of them, the no paras. Thx, MING. I didn't really have beefs with him, but I did call a few of his takes troll attempts. I usually don't trust the over the top people. They do that stuff to get a rise out of others instead of honestly believing in tripe.

I think it's 25,000. Whoever knows for sure can answer.

The answer to what it takes to retire a number on LG.

Here's the configuration:

Rookie 0
Sixth Man 25
Starting Rotation 100
Star Player 1000
Franchise Player 10000
Retired Number 25000

According to my profile, I joined in 2005. That's 16 out of the 20 years I've been hanging around here. LG has gotten me through a divorce, my kids growing up, and several other life milestones. Tales of the olden days are akin to Greek mythology and upon reflection, my moral character has definitely deteriorated over that time.

Here's to 20 more years. I can only hope I haven't slipped into total dementia by then.

Reads like my story. My daughter was born 2 weeks before I joined. She is now going off to college.

LG was how I passed time in the library between classes in high school. Lots of stuff has happened since then but this site will always be on my bookmarks bar!

Originally I was on Clublakers for a year or so before joining here, but I left because the site was so laggy. LG was much easier on a Pentium 4 processor...

I was a longtime lurker of this forum but I made an account because I wanted to join in on the Pau trade discussions; one of my better Laker memories.

Did you think you would still be posting on this site 10, 15, 20 years later?
