Don’t think so on that one. The paint has a lot of moving arms and legs at high speed.

Giannis moved naturally like any player pivoting for a rebound would...Zaza play was completely dirty.

Giannis didn’t do anything you see from the intentional dirty group of Crowder, Olynyk and Zaza.

Why is Solomon Hill being excluded from this highly distinguished group?

It looked deliberate to me. He shouldn't be planting his foot beneath Kyrie's natural landing spot.

The rules are different in the paint imo.
I think you gotta do your best to avoid feet in there while landing.
It's probably the reason AD hyperextended his knee on the booker block as he was trying to avoid landing on Booker's feet.
Zaza was in the perimeter. Same dirty school as Jalen Rose and Dahntay Jones

Solomon Hill is a first time offender imo. The others have a history.

Seems like he is hesitant to dive for loose balls in the Sixers series. If he takes out Embiid he may be blackballed from the league by Silver.

I saw nothing deliberate/malicious about what Giannis did.

Zaza was literally trying to hurt Kawhi.

He seems alert enough of where his body parts are to know where he is consciously putting his legs/feet when he runs into the paint under a shooter, no?

I sensed him consciously placing the foot there.. too far.. too wide a stance

Same video as above just at 36 second mark

Before you hit play slow it down to 25%
You only have to watch 3 seconds..

It may not have been meant to injure him maybe just make him fall to the ground.. like "this is my hoop (bleep)" type stuff...

Conscious and Intentional.. but how far was the intent.. injure or just make fall to the ground?

My initial reaction was that it was dirty, but in retrospect it probably wasn't. However, at the very least it was extremely careless by Giannis. Not quite Solomon Hill level careless, but same ballpark.

It even looks like he intentionally slithers the leg under there quickly.. like he lowered his knee so it could get under him before he started coming downward

It was an odd play. Kyrie jumped with 2 feet.
But instead of landing on 2, his left leg comes down later and somewhat gets hung up on Giannis. I'm not sure if Kyrie was trying to draw a foul, or if that's his normal jumping/landing motion off 2 feet.

Don't wanna say what Kyrie should have done in hindsight. It's just a freak accident. Hopefully it's not too severe.

Just looked careless, not intentional.

Could that injury have happened on a spherical earth? I don't think so.

I blame Giannis for having big feet and Kyrie for having little feet.

😂 Don't mean to make light of the injury, but that's funny.

Kobe met his achilles ... just one or two games before playoffs. 2015?
The darkness part of watching Kobe missing the playoffs.
Gasol and Howard too weak to carry the Lakers.

This season champion is likely an asterisked one.
Injuries make impossible possible.
Or possible impossible.

That wasn't intentional. Giannis just looking for a rebound.
