Obvious it'll be Malik Monk and his supporting cast of LBJ, WB, AD and HBK this year.

Seriously - hard to draw many conclusions from this game.

How many practices have these guys even had together?

Malik is going to surprise a lot of people this season, I could actually see him leading the team from the 3

So much for an 88-win season.

Monk showed promise but is more of an opportunist that needs others around him to draw attention away. It was brutal watching him try to create on his own with scrubs on the floor in the 4th. And Nunn is definitely not a PG. Rob was right to bring in Rondo for when LBJ and/or Russ have to sit out games. THT should not be our break-glass in case of emergency PG.

He's a lot like JR Smith was in his prime from what i've seen in the past and today reminded me of him as well where once he sees a shot or two go down he could drop 20-30 and I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. He went on a 8-10-0 run all by himself in the first half including two 3's. If he's doing this while in the game with Bron, AD & Russ wtf is a defense going to do?

There will also be nights he probably wont be able to hit anything but he can still make some nice cuts and has the athleticism to catch lobs at anytime from Bron or Russ to still pose a threat to defenses.

Like most are saying it's his defense imo that will get him the minutes, the offense is already there without a doubt. If he can put all out effort on the defensive ends as well and just be even average he'll be getting a ton of minutes this season I think.

Probably too early to compare to Melo. But one thing I liked is his explosivensss off the dribble. Give him a lane or step and he will make you pay. If he happens to start, that is just more pressure at the rim along with WB LBJ and others. But even off the bench with Dwight and Melo that’s going to be a good combo.

Exactly. And also why it's called an exhibition game.

These games are not for the fans as much as they are for the coaches, to give them a chance to evaluate who stays and who goes.

Usually the teams that go undefeated in preseason don't do that well in the regular season, let alone the playoffs.
