I dont understand why they pulled Morton in the 3rd after 44. I don't think he was in trouble. |

Broken leg. For the life of me I can't imagine how one would break their leg pitching. _________________ KOBE |

Damn... losing Morton is like a death sentence for the Braves...
he's like their best pitcher.. I'm not too sold on Fried, look at what we did to him... then Ian Adnerson?
hope they can still pull it off _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold & contain life, but the quality of life doesn't change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it." |

That’s how I thought Luke Jackson would look against our team. Really good outing from him tonight. |

The Braves are already doing better than they did in their last World Series. |

Atlanta has that team of destiny look to me. The infield was already really strong, but the outfield just caught absolute fire as well. And their lefty relievers, who have all been inconsistent at times, have looked practically unhittable in the postseason. Kind of like Joe Kelly in the 2018 postseason for the Red Sox. Just found something and mowed people down.
The loss of Morton hurts, yes, but I think they have the advantage tomorrow with Fried against Urquidy. If they go up 2-0, they are a massive favorite, although it won't be over, of course. And I remember the Nationals winning the first 2 games in Houston in the 2019 World Series, only to lose the next 3 at home. They still won the series, of course, as there wasn't a single home win in the series, famously. But if the Braves go up 2-0, I love their chances. This isn't the same Houston rotation as 2 years ago, of course. Valdez has been up-and-down, ditto Garcia, and no one else scares you at all beyond that. Whereas for Atlanta, Fried had been dominant since the All-Star break until he ran into us, and Anderson is quite capable.
Hoping the Braves can close it out in 5 or less. |

In our very small defense, we seemed to score off of Fried as well, at least in game 5 |

This is what MLB gets for letting the Astros off the hook. It would be a slap in the face of baseball for them to win a championship so soon after they cheated their way to one. |

Game one had the lowest ratings ever for the World Series. I guess most ppl don't care for these POS cheatros and the Braves. |

who's to say they aren't cheating anymore? the fact that the MLB never went beyond their interviews suggest that all their cheating mechanisms are still in place... that's a very big possibility.
having said that, these Astros are really good hitters... and the fact that in 2017 they were able to eliminate differences between a fastball and a changeup, or a high fastball or a curve, etc, gave them essentially an infinity gauntlet type advantage over their opponents. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. It’s sickening when I see comments from people calling the Astros victims and even saying they had to cheat because the Yankees and everyone else does it. |
