Wait…so we needed a +20 point 4Q just to beat the Detroit (bleep) Pistons by 5 points? I don’t care if Lebron only played 20 minutes, that’s just terrible and not convincing whatsoever.

People really think LeBron is old and isn’t dominate anymore? He just came back from the injury at least give it a few games until writing him off, he has no problem proving doubters wrong again..

From what I see is this team is only very good for a quarter or two right now. They need to find a way to do it for the whole game. Or at least not have crappy 3rd quarters.

1) It counts as a Win. This team needs as many Wins as we can get.

2) That was the best game we have seen Russ play thus far. We were lethargic. He ignited our team with energy and passion. We desperately needed it. AD's body language was terrible. His arms were hanging like his hands were made of cement blocks. This is the Russ we need. His play led to AD waking the F up. Very encouraging. Hope for the future.

3) That was the best game quarter we have seen AD play thus far. When he's engaged on the defensive end, he is a top 5 players in the league. He demonstrated leadership, strength and the desire to embrace the moment.

4) The team did not buckle. We had every reason to just throw in the towel after LBJ got tossed. We did not give in. We perceived. Not sure if you have played team sports before, but a Win like today does a ton for a group like ours. It brings players together. This comeback may be the catalyst to a much needed turnaround.

I think there were some positives tho they showed in that 4th qtr, Russ cutting off ball and playing the 2 man game with AD in the high pick and roll instead of just standing around or chucking jumpers

Aggressive defense

Can build upon that

Any win is a good win.
FYI: Grant is a BEAST.

Astute observation. Their biggest flaw is they can’t sustain for 48 minutes.

There is a difference between dominating and sustaining. The good teams are able to sustain on most nights with the occasional domination. This Lakers squad doesn’t seem capable of sustaining so they simply just aren’t any good.

I would say we still have that issue where wings go off on us because we don’t have that defensive wing to matchup.

I think this is the case. When Nunn comes back start him and have Westbrook go unleashed with the second unit. He can take over a game and play more to his style that way.

Grant was irritating the hell out of me in this game lol but he is a very good player, he would be a perfect 3-D wing for us if we can grab him in the future.

Don’t think he wants to be a third wheel. Left Denver to be the star of his own team. Ironically is now behind Cunningham.

That was the best AD-Russ quarter of the season

This was the first time the team showed any kind of pride without LBJ on the floor.

Lakers squeak this one out 121-116. Took a 37-17 4th to do it.

In sum, team was getting waxed once again on the defensive end...an inexcusable 99 points given up in 3 quarters.

But the 4th the team clamped down. The D showed up, as did pride, even after LBJ was tossed in the 3rd.

A win is a win; but garbage play is also garbage play. We had that and alot in between.

Lakers back to .500. Knicks up next.

I have to give Bron this. When Isaiah Stewart was charging around like a bull, Bron didn't run for cover.

Definitely a positive game! They have to start somewhere and it looks like they are starting to figure some things out.

That probably made Stewart madder. He wanted some kind of fear reaction but wasn't getting it.

I like how Deandre kept trying to get between them, AD3 was as well, someone on one of the coaching staffs even was trying to cling to AD3's leg ala JVG

Stewart got face to face with Lebron right after the hit and didn’t do anything. Only after his team held him back he went Mental. All for show

Well Lebron did stood right in front him for a while and Stewart did not do anything. Also I can only imagine what a pucnh from Lebron can do if a back hand caused that much damage.

Hard to not really still be frustrated Killer. 99 points in 3 quarters is just piss poor defense. With that said, I agree with the sentiment to try and take some positives. The reality is, this team needs 4 quarters of that 4th quarter to be what they need to be win a chip (or at least the effort).
