If he has no skills, as you claim, how do you suppose they are going to trade him?

Right now THT gets you a aging vet that teams want to rid themselves of the contract or maybe a late first with salary filler. He gets you no where near even a boarder line young all-star type talent. |
I can't say I really have a handle on how he is viewed and what his value is around the league right now. He is young and has shown flashes, but potential turns into journeyman faster than most fans think. |

for tweeners, what i mean is players 6'2- 6'4 playing wing, you better have a reliable jumper. so far THT does not have that yet. |

In addition to not enough talent to interest the 76ers, you're about $15 million in salaries short |

THT hit a wall...happens with a lot of players. Injured, come off and look great then start sucking. I expect him to rebound shortly and be back to what he is currently. Not a 20+ ppg scorer yet, but solid scoring, playmaking and defense. |

Could his thumb be bothering him? I seem to remember him getting hit on it a few games ago and he hasn't been the same since. |

This. Plus it is a 3 year $30.8 million contract, not $50 Mil. |

Very likely, but no mercy from these fans. A couple subpar games after thumb surgery and heās shipped out. |

Vogel tried to make Kuzma Bruce Bowen, he is now trying to turn THT into Pj Tucker
THT should always play the 1 or 2, not the 3. His strength is no longer an advatange vs bigger players.... |

That's because the Lakers have always had a glut of casual fans. That has been exacerbated by the glut of incoming LeBron fans. So...yeah, lol. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Most likely. After my injury same injury and surgery, it took a year to feel no pain at all. Still can't bend my thumb the same way to this day. |

There should be a law, you can't get paid, till you get a legit jumper.... but kidding aside, he is young, he is currently overpaid, but over time, will probably become a very valuable player for us.
Without Kuzma, fans need a new whipping boy, and that is THT.
Personally, I think our problems are way beyond what what young rich kid is getting overpaid. If we don't work out the other issues, we are essentially training THT to get better by next year.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving, give it a rest for awhile. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

The Lakers need to run a few plays for THT to get him some easy baskets. He also needs to do a better job of running the floor in transition to get easy layups.
That may help him break out of this slump. |

Besides being 3 years younger, what does THT have on Monk? Both inconsistent, monk is better at shooting, making plays for others, can drive to the basket, super athletic. Both mediocre defenders |

This is very true. People talked as if he would be a ābigā defender. I still am high on him for where is is age wise, but heās not a real threat from three, still canāt finish with the left, and doesnāt have great balm handling. |

The entire time THT was injured he was working on his left. I went to a handful of games this season and every game he is there early with his trainer working on left hand finishes. Every single game. At some point he will feel confident enough to use his left during games if he keeps working on it. _________________ ālike I never leftā

Well he could only use his left while he was injured, and Im sure heās working on it, however he needs to show it in games. Reminds me of Randle when all he had was that left and everyone knew it. |
