South Bay Lakers in the house!!

Both Laker two-way players saw action vs the Twolves last night:

* Chaundee Brown played early but looked a little lost in the moment. He had to adjust to the speed of the game.
0-6 FG's & 1 rebound in 15 minutes was not a good look. Brown has a ways to go before he contributes on an NBA level.

* Jay Huff got in late for 5 minutes during garbage time. Not much to talk about but at least he got some valuable PT.

Quote:
per Dancing Barry

Brown -- -- He got some early run in this game when Bazemore picked up some foul trouble in the first quarter. He missed several shots and we didn’t see him until garbage time. Game seemed to be going a bit fast for him. The Stats: He didn’t score on 0-6 shooting (0-3 from three) to go with 1 board in 15 minutes. He was a +0.

Huff -- -- He came in for 5 minutes of garbage time. The Stats: He had 1 steal and 1 foul in 5 minutes. He was a +3.

Brown -- -- He had a bit of action in the first half. His one score was a nice curl around the D to the left on a drive for a layup.
The Stats: He scored 2 points on 1-1 shooting to go with 1 board, 1 turnover and no foul in 5 minutes. He was a -1.

Quote:
The Lakers currently have both two-way roster spots filled in forward Chaundee Brown and center Jay Huff. One of the two players would need to be cut from their two-way deal to sign Jones.
It remains to be seen which one will, and we will update this story when we know.

    #SBLakers/G-League vs Spurs

Quote:
J. Jones -- -- Some good moments of hustle, keeping offensive boards alive early. The Stats: He scored 2 points on 1-2 shooting to go with 1 board, 1 steal and 1 foul in 12 minutes. He was a -15.

Huff -- -- Last one in with 3:50 left. Nothing to report. The Stats: He had 1 board and 1 turnover in 4 minutes. He was a -7.

M. Jones -- -- He came in late for garbage time. He got his one bucket attacking off the three line for a layup. He missed three point blank layups. After the third, which was on a breakaway, uncontested, he blew it and Stu said, “That’s what will keep him in the G-League.” Ouch. The Stats: He scored 2 points on 1-5 shooting (0-1 from three) to go with 1 board and 1 foul in 6 minutes. He was a -6.

South Bay Lakers guard Andre Ingram discusses winning 'Wheel of Fortune'

Quote:
“I just seem to remember I couldn’t stop smiling,” Ingram said, recalling when host Pat Sajak declared him the night’s big winner.

“I couldn’t control myself,” he added. “Cheeks were hurting afterwards. Quite surreal that he says that. I’m just in that moment.
I’m just taking it all in, like they say. I guess it’s easier to do that when you’ve been having some success with it. I was just genuinely enjoying, at that point, everything about it.
