Then you might remember my brother-in-law:

Toilet Delivery😀

My daughter and I watched the entire run of GG this past summer at her request. She had no idea her Uncle Alan was on the show not once, but twice, so the anticipation of watching her surprise made the watch extra fun.

And of course, he has said that the best part of doing the show was being around Betty.

NO WAY! And he was Mr. Haha too! The production did this with more than just your brother-in-law, hiring actors or actresses that appeared in more than one episode in a different role.

Wow, this is really great. Just watched his scenes again. So good!

Yep! Awesome that you know that connection.

Sad after all that hype for the 100th Bday.

Great life, and needs to be celebrated.

RIP.

Seen on Twitter:

By dying at 99 just hours before New Year's eve, she almost guarantees she'll be one of the most toasted people off all time. As always, she was a master of timing.

I wonder how they're taking the news back in St. Olaf

Quote:

The name was taken from the real-life St. Olaf Township in southern Minnesota established in 1869 and named after Olaf II of Norway, home to just 332 in 2000 Census,

She also lost the St. Olaf Butter Queen pageant as a teenager due to a case of "churn tampering." Her parents did not allow her to date until she was a high school senior, and between then and her wedding day, she had about fifty-six boyfriends.

Ah, yes, she tells the tale of losing out on butter queen when they are jailed because the cops think they are part of a prostitution ring at a hotel they had gone to in preparation for a show featuring Burt Reynolds in the area, and all 4 girls have a huge crush on him. They only had 3 tickets for it, so the gag during the episode was that Sophia, who wasn't invited, would "get over it." So Sophia shows up to the jail at the end to bail them out and asks "ok, so which one of you isn't going?" They all say they deserve to go: Blanche says she won the tickets, Dorothy says it's her mom that's coming to bail them out, and Rose, our dear Betty White, exclaims "I lost butter queen, haven't I suffered enough?!?!" So an angry Sophia snatches the 3 tickets out of Dorothy's hand through the jail bars and says "you'll get over it, Dorothy, and if you don't, who cares, I'm going to see Burt Reynolds!", and she saunters off, leaving them in the jail.

The episode ends back at the house where Burt Reynolds shows up at the door because he's picking up Sophia, whom he is taking out to lunch. The other 3 girls are stunned to see him, of course. He asks Sophia "which one's the slut?", and all 3 of them simultaneously say "I am!"

Greatest sitcom of all time.

Saddened by her passing. Last of the Golden Girls. She didn't have any biological children by choice. Was a stepmother of Allen Ludden's three children David, Martha, and Sarah. RIP

SNL is going to rerun the 2010 episode she hosted tonight - for which she won an Emmy I believe.

Saturday Night Live - SNL @nbcsnl

Rest in Peace, Betty White Red heart

Watch Betty’s episode of SNL tonight on NBC.

(I'm assuming it's the 11:30 pm slot and not the 10pm slot where they already show repeat episodes. Set your DVRs.)

To be on the safe side I'm gonna start with the 10 pm slot. The guide has that slot hosted by Eddie Murphy.

I watched this when it originally aired it was one of the better episodes because of Betty. In modern times its the host that makes or breaks the show.

The Whitney Houston jokes were cringe though.
