* The Grizzlies have won eight in-a-row. They are one of the hottest teams in the NBA.
Lakers vs. Grizzlies Preview: Looking at the standings
Although the Lakers are much closer to being in the play-in tournament than the currently 4th-seeded Memphis Grizzlies,
Sunday’s could have seeding implications, as a Lakers win could split the season series between the two teams.

Win or Westbroke gets traded/waived. The stake is high.

And so it begins. Now the non COVID protocol Grizzlies that we're "out" have become "questionable". (Brooks is still listed as out with that injury that happened during the game yesterday, tho)

A good benchmark game for us. The scoring has been wonderful the past couple of weeks, but the insane offensive efficiency has mostly come against very poor teams who are among the worst in the league defensively. If we can replicate the scoring oomph we’ve shown against a very good Memphis team, that would speak very well of the sustainability of our scoring punch against teams that aren’t absolute sieves.

Surprising how good Memphis has been this season. Should Morant have gone #1 instead of Zion?

Are we talking about the NBA or a hot dog eating contest?

The Grizzlies are on a back to back and are missing at least two starters. Even if Morant plays, it would be bad to lose this one.

The Lakers have won 4 in a row, the Grizzlies have won a franchise record-tying 8 in a row. Something has to give!
I'm looking forward to a highly competitive game. GO LAKERS!!

Let's see how some of these guys do against a team that plays some level of defense. LeBron will get his, but what about the supporting cast? A strong showing tonight is a good step towards continuity going forward.

I'm sure this is shocking news to everyone

Morant, Bane and Anderson all in (and starting) for Memphis.

Our Starters

The Lakers are going to start the same way as the last game: LeBron, Russ, Stanley, Avery and Malik.

Westbrook contrary to popular opinion was not the worst trade. The in-effect Bane and Green for DS who walks for zip tops it so far.

No timetable as yet. Last reports showed him doing some shooting around on the court but i haven't read that he's doing and scrimmages/contact/etc yet.
