Another loss.

Which will be pretty sad when you consider no Kyrie and no KD while we have our “big 3.”

Well, they didn't have Kyrie and KD last time and they had no problem beating us. Harden alone is enough. I'm sure we'll win this time as long as we show up to play in the first quarter and not wait until the 3rd quarter.

Harden has been a shell of himself throughout this season but I'm sure he and Patty Mills will go off just as they did on Christmas

No doubt! Our perimeter defense has to be solid and Westbrook has to do a better job defensively against Patty Mills. If AD gives us anything that would be a good thing too.

Lakers vs. Nets Preview: Time to let the young guys play more
It’s time to let the young Lakers play more, because they’ve proven all season that they can contribute to winning basketball.

Notes and Updates
*It’s looking more likely that Anthony Davis returns
*Stanley Johnson’s first breakout game happened during the Christmas game vs. the Brooklyn Nets.
*The Lakers might want to learn from their mistakes during Christmas Day and improve their defense on Patty Mills.
*Sekou Doumbouya (health and safety protocols) and Kendrick Nunn (right knee bone bruise) will be out tomorrow.
*Durant (MCL sprain), Joe Harris (ankle) and Nic Claxton (hamstring) are out.
*Kevin Durant and LeBron James last faced each other in 2018.

I think if they lose this game with AD and nets without KD or Kyrie, we might see a change. Not specifically Vogel, but might get things moving.

I wouldn’t put that much emphasis on AD returning, it could take some games to get his wind back and into playing form.

Daring Patty Mills to make open 3s is not a good strategy, and i hope Vogel knows that by now
also LMA has been hot recently, and he is coming off the bench.

i don't know what i will think if Vogel starts Ariza again...

Pretty remarkable that even with a lose.. we MIGHT see a change.. a team with high expectations with a 23-25 record should blow it up, just that Pelinka and Jeannie wouldn’t have the cojones to do it.

We back

Anthony Davis will start tonight, as expected. He has no hard minutes limit, but Vogel said they’ll be mindful of his work load.

This is a winnable game but the defense will have to be on point all game.
I want the Lakers use the young guys early and often.
Stan, AR, Monk, and THT have all done fairly well when given the opportunity.
It is vitally important that we keep fresh legs in the game, especially on defense.
    LET'S GO LAKERS!!
