BGJ is in Hawaii on break

So far the crew themselves haven't said much of anything because they've just been playing the post game press conferences so that was Vogel that was just speaking and he was so mad he was literally his face was literally red. And now Russ is doing his post game mostly looking down at his phone.

I've never wanted a team blown up more than this team.

Yes, the days after Kobe were rough but we had young players and we knew we werent winning. I, at least, found joy in watching the young guys get better and show flashes of being good players. The losses sucked but it was more or less an expectation so no big deal.

This...this team has LeBron James. sure, he's older, but he's still a top player in the league. We have AD but he's been so inconsistent, he's a nonfactor. we still have Westbrook and other players who can play. the chemistry isnt there but we should be able to beat teams like thunder, portland, clippers (without their best players). This is so damn bad. The only players we should keep are THT, Reaves, Monk, and even Nunn. Everyone else needs to be traded for picks and young talent.

The first to go, only b/c its the easiest move, it the coach. I wish Vogal the best, but his time with the Lakers is over. Give Phil Handy the job for the last 20 or so games and get a peak at him. If not him, maybe that doofus, Fidale can show flashes of being decent. I just don't see any negative to trying

This season needs to end. Please let an eastern team win it other than celtics and maybe sixers.

Up by 5 off of Melo scorching hot and THT just all over place ballin.

Lebron doesn’t close out on the Terrance Mann three. That is where we lost momentum imo

So yeah

Vogel was saying that the referees did not blow the whistle until Covington had the ball in his head and stepped out of bounds. So whether or not LeBron touchdown his foot should've been irrelevant because plays stopped when Covington stepped out of bounds. So it shouldn't have mattered whether he called a timeout or didn't call a time out or any of that because none of that should've been allowed to happen. If they wanted to review something they should've reviewed Covington's play not LBJs. And he also mentioned like well if they're going to go back in time and start reviewing other plays then why didn't they go back and review the fact that LeBron got pushed out of bounds in the first place. So that's what Vogel was mad about which is a valid point. Which a lot of people were saying during the game.

And then Russ was like I wasn't even in it like that you know as a player I'm not really paying attention I just have to wait until they make their decision and be ready to go back out and play but I (Russ) Felt like we were doing better when we were attacking the basket more and we were putting ourselves in a position to Win by attacking the basket.

Austin busted his ass as usual.

Plus that’s gotta be the first time I’ve seen a player lock up Reggie Jackson to the point where the coach benched him.

Reggie’s always been a Lakers killer too ever since his days coming off the bench for Russ in OKC

Lebron, as I predicted, has checked out of this season. No one cares, and that includes me. I just want this season to be over with. No play in, just let it be done.

Count me in. I want these bums to miss the playoffs so I can go back and enjoy watching the Dodgers.

Ok on the replay I see why that play blew up. They made it look like LeBron had a one on one but once he dribbled it down, they blitzed him and the Lakers didn’t really have a plan B to go to.

The Clippers doubled him the play before too. They were going to force anyone else to beat them. It was no secret. Lue was the better coach again

No way you have Lebron be the entry guy for that play. That's inviting a double team. You roll him on a baseline double screen and let him get to the elbow or to the rim. I've defended Vogel all season, but that was a horrible last play.

Exactly. At least have closer to the basket where he can be more of a threat as a scorer or passer. He was basically taken out of the play.

I thought Vogel should have stayed with that line-up a little longer...

That was on Melo not Lebron...

Vogel is right. He still shouldn’t have called a timeout. He also didn’t even argue with the refs to put pressure on them before they went to the monitor. Instead you had LeBron talking to them and even RJ. Vogel definitely didn’t fight them on the call
