We just have to reframe the definition of winning. If they don't lose by 30, I'll consider it a W.

Fall to 10th place after tomorrow night and one Spurs/Kings run from missing the play-in tourney entirely.

This will be the first Laker game I'll be attending since before Covid started

All I want is for this team to play competent basketball and for them to look like they give a (bleep). Hopefully that isn't too much to ask for...

Laker fans are too spoiled. Maybe a 10 or 20 year championship drought would make us appreciate the next championship a lot more.

I appreciate every championship, and that's why I hate teams like this one that are poorly constructed and play like they don't give a damn. Mistakes were made and Lakers fans should be upset.

No matter what the circumstances are or who’s playing, the lakers always have a great chance to win when they’re playing the Warriors.

Of course they do.

Just like they had a chance to dominate the bottom feeder Pelicans or have tough competitive games with the clips. (how often did we hear, only 8pts in the previous 3 losses)

At this point it is more a matter of watching to see if the players have had enough of losing and being ridiculed and decide to compete for an entire 48 mins. Or is that just fan hope because they have already checked out.

Guess we will find out just how much pride this group can muster.

Lebron will miss this game or shut it down after this game

We losing by 15 points. We'll make a huge comeback with Reeves in the lineup making some great plays along with the other high energy guys. Then we'll inevitably put WB and Melo back in and GSW lead will balloon up to 20. Garbage time we'll cut the deficit by 5.

Not sure this is applicable to our current situation. I think a lot of us would just like to see a team with multiple top 75 players and future Hall of Famer's and what have you just look competent when they go out onto the court.

Exactly, if you must be old and slow, at least play smart. We are slow like a veteran team but play dumb like most rookie teams urgh

You're never missing a game when you have a chance to stat pad

Going to interesting to see how he approaches the last 20 games due the points needed to get the record.

The opportunity to just score as he is wants this season may be too alluring. Can’t just quit early and expect to be able to maintain it next year. What happens if he gets injured and only plays 40-50 games? Or next year drops off to 20pts a game?

James has to be mindful he is right on the line of age and a major injury ending it all and still being 1700 pts away.

I may have to rethink the idea he will shut it down in the next 5-10 games to distance himself. He may need those stat pad games.

Tough call
