Two different dynamics at play: Jokic's MVP push vs Lebron's scoring title.

I'm sure they'll reach a mutually beneficial outcome.

Per Turner

Lakers say Anthony Davis (right mid-foot sprain) and LeBron James (left ankle sprain) are questionable for game vs. Denver Sunday and that
Carmelo Anthony (non-COVID related illness) is probable.

Jokic wants MVP? He better bring his A-game to the ABC broadcast.

This is gonna be a good game.

Once the Lakers lose this game and get eliminated from the play-in they better shut down LeBron and AD, and especially LeBron because you don’t want him going all wild over the scoring chase while potentially getting injured.

Lakers star LeBron James will be out today vs. Nuggets as he deals with nagging ankle injury, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The Lakers are currently one game behind San Antonio for the final Play-In spot.

This is more then just a nagging ankle injury, he knows there is no point putting his body on the line for this team, why the Lakers haven’t shut him down yet is beyond ridiculous

Ad play tho

Frank Vogel says LeBron James is out and Anthony Davis will play today against Denver. “He had ankle soreness from the other night, this is essentially like a back to back,” Vogel said. Vogel said LeBron is day to day moving forward.

Well that sucks. I really wanted LBJ + AD to lead the team in the last 5 games.

He hasn’t shut himself down. He is going to “manage” himself to playing a couple of more games for the scoring title.

This is Lebron James. He makes his own decisions.

Well I am going to fire my sources. I don’t doubt LeBron’s injury or anything but he does a really good job of hiding it in the games he plays in
