Kobe or Michael?

I know Michael was special, but Kobe could do some incredible stuff while in the air. Maybe not the same kind of hang time as MJ, but still super spectacular, IMO.

Here is some video I've made just for comparison, please answer this poll.

Kobe is my personal #1 all time but Jordan takes this and there's something much bigger in my deciding reason then just hang time.. It's the hands, Jordan could get way crazier and more creative then Kobe ever could because his hands were larger and he could easily palm it while Kobe was a bit more limited.

No doubt Kobe is still one of the greatest and most creative around the basket but a bit behind Jordan in this specific category for sure imo.

This is such a highly subjective topic that I suspect it will mostly be a poll about which player people like more than an analysis of their layup package. My guess is Kobe will win on LG, and MJ would win if the poll was done on a Laker-neutral site.

tough call
Kobe has better left hand, body control
MJ has larger hands, stronger body.

This is an interesting question. One could reason that by virtue of MJ being the superior athlete with baseball mitts for hands, Kobe must have had the superior "package" to account for his athletic deficiencies. That said, MJ was more efficient and just as aesthetically pleasing if not moreso. Did he have as many moves? Did he put as much english on the ball? hard to say, and not sure it matters in a sense.

I think it's a coin flip . . . but while my heart rings out for Kobe, my gut says MJ.

Knbe, just because he's the best ever... but, Jordan takes this one. Jordan's hang time is unparalleled, even up to this day.

Kobe did great stuff, I became a Laker fan because of him. MJ
was the master is all.

MJ had bigger hands and the leaping ability to hang in the air longer. In terms of moves I'd say they're both right there evenly match, but I give the slight edge to Jordan because he was more efficient.

Yes I give this to MJ too.

Fadeaway..contorting body in the air..3pt shooting is all kobe. And by a WIDE margin.
