Sacramento nepotism.
I now see why Vivek let McNair have the coaching hire. So he can have an excited fan base and sneak this move past them |
Nepotism exists and I don't blame it at all. That's how it is & will be. We do have to just accept it |

It isn’t as bad as it sounds when you think about it.
If you’re going to be nepotistic, then let your heirs work their way through the ranks and get experience. An assistant gm in a g-league affiliate isn’t the biggest job on a nba team.
Why do you think some fans think highly of Joey buss? Because of how well he’s handled the g-league team.
It’s a lot better than giving rob/magic their positions without experience. |
Yeah I was just joking. She could be good and all about a sports executive role.
Can’t imagine the disaster the Lakers scouting department and player development would be without Joey and Jesse Buss. |
There is no team more nepotistic than the Lakers. |

I’m thinking through all this talk of Westbrook potentially staying to make it work with a new coach and I don’t seem to find any reason for me to believe that it could work, my point is gonna stand that the talk of him staying is to create more trade market for him. |

This is a very clever plan. It might boost his trade value so much that other GMS hang up on us in 30 seconds rather than in 10 seconds as they do now. |

It must be the scam the Wizards used to get Pelinka to trade for Westbrook _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I want to see a fully transformed Davis this summer. All dedication, no slacking off.
He needs to come up with a strong core and even stronger legs. He needs to learn how to back players in and not fall like a toothpick on every position.
If he can't do that, ship his ass out now. |
I don’t care how strong his legs are, he’s not surviving Lebron pushing a 200 plus pound man down and chop blocking them from under him. AD didn’t hurt himself, Lebron hurt him early on |

I really think RW can help the young Orlando Magic.
Some package of Fultz and injured Jonathan Isaac for RW.
Man, I feel for Isaac. Injured, especially when so young sucks.
Hopefully it's not a Johnathan Bender situation. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

Idk. He’s been hurt. He didn’t say “ the season wasn’t a failure “.
I expect him to be right there with Giannis next year. |

I don't get this rebuttal by some? He had injury concerns before he even came to the Lakers and the last two Seasons sure as hell have not made that any better regardless if one of those was not his fault or not.. It's the sheer amount of not only injuries but he constantly has new "ailments" it seems every week and falls to the floor a good hand full of times every game. His talent level is through the roof but I agree 100% he desperately needs to work on his core and injury prevention especially.
The last Summer he looked like he just worked on his upper body in the gym a little bit which is literally the last thing he needed to work on and only ended up hurting his inside/outside 2 way play and still looked brittle making every Laker fan hold there breathe countless times as usual until he was actually sidelined.
He also loves to talk a lot but outside of his absolutely amazing Bubble performance he's been a disappointment ever since imo.. He's our sole star player still in his Prime yet looked older then Bron and much of the roster most of the time. He went from being discussed as possibly the best player in the NBA after the Bubble to not even being in most peoples top 10 which is a little unsettling since he'll be hitting 30 years old next Season and those Prime years are shedding away rapidly fast....
I'm hoping and expecting a fully recharged AD ready to dominate and prove he's still among the best in the NBA but i'd def. be lying if I didn't admit I don't feel super confident typing that at all sadly. |

AD getting hurt in the 2020-2021 season was a mix of wear and tear from the bubble and his body not holding up. If you want to attribute that to him being fragile or not in the right shape then I won’t disagree.
Last season though both his injuries were freak injuries and hard contact.
With how fragile people here think AD is…if he actually was then I think those injuries would’ve been a lot worse. |

Christian Wood is definitely getting traded.
Yep on paper he looks fantastic. Classic stretch 4 and can catch lobs and dunk. Even has decent handles to drive to the basket.
Problem is he sucks ass on defense, can’t set a pick and is a freaking black hole.

Supposedly a source close to the Suns with a good track record (Xin Varlock) is saying that there are discussions of Lebron for Ayton, Johnson, and a 1st. |
