Boston looking primed to move to the finals.

Heat looks too injured, I guess.

To make finals or to win? Is the former, seems like free money to bet on the Warriors.

It's terrible from a competitive standpoint. I wonder what the ratings are for the last couple of games.

Best of 3, here we go.
Playoffs so boring without the Lakers.

Boston going all the way simply can not happen. Wake up Jimmy!

(bleep) Boston. Knew it. If Curry gets injured, I'm gonna lose it. These lucky, little green men are getting a championship gift wrapped to them.

Well whatevers....the Heat didnt come out the right focus and intensity. It was obvious they were playing this game knowing it was house money. This next game 5 will be exciting. Both teams will approach this game with the right intensity.

3 point league with key players spotty availability.

That’s going to lead to high variance in games.

So many injuries. Blowouts alternating between teams. Just not good playoff basketball IMO.

Crazy thought, but maybe they should put a break between the end of the regular season and the playoffs. Or simply reduce the number of games played from 82 to 66. It’s starting to feel like the healthiest rather than the best team wins the championship.

Silver can’t be happy about this.

NHL playoffs and even MLB regular season are more watchable than the NBA playoffs this season.

I am sure that “make less revenue” would be something most owners would pass on.

I think you mean Jason Tatum.

.He did have a good game. His last game was not indicative of his talent. As most star players do he showed who he really is. The Leprechaun's defense showed up. If they continue to play like that they'll make the finals. They won without Marcus Smart the DPOY

I'm thinking the league has taken notice and will look for ways to reduce the number of injuries. The only thing I can think of would be investing in a conditioning training program.

I go with the Whitey Herzog train of thought, these guys are too conditioned. With body parts being lean and tight, there isn’t any give when they meet resistance. I doubt that Luka and Jokic have injury prone careers, having a burger and beer at lunch before a game keeps one loose.

I have two $25.00 gentlemen's bets with my best friend. (1) Dallas won't get swept. That looks to be in jeopardy. (2) The Dubs will beat the Heat. That's looking a little better.

Why are Zion and D’Angelo Russell so injury prone then?

I was thinking more along the lines of hiring an exercise physiologist.

Making less revenue is probably not an option for the league. Since this is entertainment and not sports competition, they might not even care about who is the best, but who makes most revenue.

That said I don*t think a break after the season would be good for rhythm and continuity. But maybe stretching out the schedule the last 10 games or so to get a bit more rest in could be possible. Maybe two three extra days before the playoffs start?
