Hopefully Walker and Schroeder are back on Wednesday

Where do you put those guys in?

2nd unit is Bev/Reaves/Toscano/Lebron/Bryant

One of the big 3 and a big will be in at any line up. So that gives you 3 spots at the PG/Wing spots.

Once Schroeder/Walker/Brown Jr are back we won’t see Christie/Pippen Jr/Tuscano getting a lot of minutes

Okay you take Toscano out.... That leaves you one spot for

Schro
Walker
Brown Jr.

AD gave me hope. He was active as hell on boards and he actually hit a couple of threes.

Nope but probably better Damon Jones.
Why not give him some burn in the game? I rather see him, Cole, Pippen or DS than any of that Klutch player farm stuff that was out there. Also dont like Nunn or TSCano and not expecting much from Brown or walker.

Jay would have scored in the paint.

Kings attacked the rim, while Lakers jacked 3's.

Candy, were you watching? I thought you were away from TV.

Why would I be away from TV? What?

This was effed up. Sacramento is not a good basketball team. Sure, it’s just the first pre-season game and we played a lot of subs, but we did not sub the coach and they played a lot of subs too. We played 13 players and the Kings played 20.

It wasn’t like we took out our coach and they played all starters. We sucked. Might not suck next game, might not suck during the season…but we sucked tonight and anything else is denial.

AD and Russ looked good and Beverly looked ok tho didn’t shoot well, liked Gabriel’s game but Nunn had 5 turnovers and Bron was 0-7 including 0-3 on 3ptrs. Reeves had 3 turnovers as well. Wasn’t impressed with Jones or Bryant.

Expected the team as a whole to player more inspired with better defense and focus on offense.

Still not the same AD we saw when he played his 1st preseason as a Laker and had like 23 points and 12 rebs against the Warriors.

EEEEAZY work for the Queens in this exhibition blowout.

Lakers showcased poor shooting, lazy passes, loose defense, lack of athleticism and an overall lack of focus. Not an encouraging display at all.

Of course, just like last year's disastrous season, people will say "It's only Game 1 of pre-season", then "it's only pre-season", then "it's only the first month of the season" etc.

We will likely be better than last year, but it looks like we're in for another rough season.

Yep, spot on…hope we are wrong, I know it’s one preseason game but the DNA of the team could very well have been on display. Lazy defense, unfocused offense, blown out by a subpar team. They played subs too, and won by 30. Would be different if a 10 point game, or they played all starters, or if they were a good team, but none of that is true. A bad team, played 20 different players (we only played 13) beat us by 30 points. Something is wrong with that, we’d better recognize it and fix it or we’ll be 30 games in facing another lost season.

We probably needs to find a way to play swider, even for 10 minutes a game, he will do wonders with Russ and Bron, his defense sucks, sure, but it is not going to get better in South Bay, this is something he can work while in practice.

Right, he can prevent the other team from scoring while attacking the paint, so he is the new Giannis

As much flack as Walker has gotten, is there any doubt his scoring out put is gonna be needed on this team, if he plays tonight we probably only lose by 15 because we probably see him scoring in double digits, so well you can criticize the FO for the use of the TMLE the guy has very nice offensive skills and even Stu mentioned it during tonight’s game.

He sure did, but I don’t know about you, my heart sinks every time he goes to the floor or up for a rebound.

Who’s the backup PF? Wenyen? Not sure I love that

If today’s anything to go by, our C combo is going to struggle

Just like last year the team is lineup is unbalanced with too many point guards and not enough wings and shooters. Most of our guards are playing out of position, as they are too small to back up shot blockers. This is the main reason why the rebounding was so poor specially in the second half. If your big man comes up to block a shot, the other guys have to box out to rebound the miss. The team is not worse than last years' however it's not that much better.
Wish we could Kuz back it would solve a lot of problems.

Bad omen. Last year, we were probably saying the same about it just being pre-season. You know what? Even if it's just pre-season. Go out and WIN!! I don't care if the games don't count. Just WIN. Already had a bad taste in my mouth.

Unless we were trying our best and we still couldn't win a preseason game?

Change the losing culture and losing mentality please!!!!!!

Just seems like an old, mediocre team with a clunky half court offense.

There is only so much coaching that can be done. The hustle will be there unlike last season, but they just aren’t good enough. Hield and Turner btw would not fix the foundational issues with this team.
