If we lose by less than double digits I will consider it a moral victory.

Pull yourself together my bro . Besides it's Warriors ring night so they might be too hype to focus on the game.

Let's Go Lakers!

After an examination, Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook is dealing with a sore left hamstring with no structural damage and will be listed as day-to-day, league sources tell @YahooSports.

The "try not to get punched by Draymond" game. I'm still in disbelief he's not suspended.

Will we finally get a look at the starting unit with AD & Bron? ESPN has AD day to day.

First game is going to say a lot about our season. I'm tired of all the talks of new team needing time to gel and such. If we're good, we're going to dominate from the start. The 2019-2020 team did just that.

Go Lakers!

My prediction: Lakers blow out the Warriors on opening night and the excitement will be bought back for the season

UPDATES

Schrö

Per Goon

Darvin Ham says Dennis Schröder has a thumb ligament injury that is still being evaluated and might take a little longer to heal. Technically he is considered “day to day” as is Russell Westbrook.

AD & Lonnie (& Troy)

Per Trudell

Lonnie Walker IV looked “great” in practice after missing last game as a precaution. AD also has “no restrictions whatsoever” ahead of the opener.

Troy Brown Jr. is still a few weeks away, though he’s making progress.

This is going to be brutal. Road game against the champs without ever having gotten to a set rotation and a major talent deficit. We’re either starting Russ, having him run the 2nd unit, or will be without him altogether. Everybody else, don’t forget to wear your name tags (coaches included).

Clip posted by Lakers today had the Purple team as AD, Bron, Walker, Reaves, Bev. Could be a spoiler for our opening night starting group.

Saw in post practice interview coach Ham said he announce the starting lineup tomorrow.

I think the above make sense however.

So that leaves us lining up something like this?

Reaves Steph
Bev Klay
Walker Wiggins
Bron Green
AD Looney

Poole Nunn
DiVicenzo JTA
Kuminga Wenyen
Wiseman Jones

Defensive assignments, maybe swap Reaves and Walker?

This game last season was the ultimate foreshadowing. Hopefully that's not the case this go around.

We looked really good during stretches in preseason... just do that please

This is a very simplistic 1 to 1 comparison. There is so much more to basketball than this. Warriors are a stacked team. We, on the other hand are a dumpster fire.

the lakers just needed a fusion machine that can convert all of THT’s youthfulness to Lebron and Westbrook’s ironman body to AD then they become invincible.

Give 37 year Lebron his 20 year old body plus ironman AD no one can beat them.

It’s gonna be hilarious when Lonnie Walker balls out for us some thought we should have given the MLE to DiVoncenzo or Otto Porter..don’t get me wrong those guys are quality players but it’s funny how people were expecting Walker to be a bum.
