This game highlights why you can't lose games like Portland. Like you can't win the game and then just lose it in the last two minutes for no reason. Because then next game you're playing Denver!! So hopefully they get their mental back together when we play Minnesota.
Portland is 4-0
I know and WE had that game won and then just lost it. This team is not in a position to take games for granted like that.
Have to add an asterisk to the bubble title as a result of the season prior and the seasons after. Of course the NBA officially awards #17 but obviously it was a fluke. Still better than no title so I appreciate that!
Right, cause we took the same team into the next three seasons... lol these game threads get silly
We took the same owner and the same GM…fluke is that combo was able to win a title.
Some enjoyable moments, but overall, I just do not see a bright future for this squad.
I know it will not happen, but at this juncture, if we are going to stick through with Russ and not trade him, I'd be fine dealing away anyone on the roster for a complete rebuild that can garner picks (funny enough, this would likely lead to Russ being the only guy left on the roster of any "name value" for the rest of the year). I just do not see anything in FA next year that significantly improve this team's chances of being a contender - nope, not even the head case Irving will help - Rest of the roster will just stink. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. Why aren't the Lakers exploring trades for Lebron and AD lol? What is the goal of this team anyway as presently constructed? I'd try to get the best haul possible for AD and Lebron.

Geez bro, we have enough issues dealing with this $#! show we are watching right now. Can we just focus on what we can do now (even if its just commiserating) versus dialing back the machine and questioning a title? Just sayin'. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z
He's the only one trying on both ends.
But he keeps being the one people say 'isn't trying hard enough'. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I honestly have not a clue what the goal of this team is. My pessimistic side is to say "to garner as much at the turnstile as possible and fill owner pockets" for this season. Because the product is just pure garbage. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z

Coach Ham says AD is "fine".
Per Trudell
Darvin Ham on Anthony Davis, who appeared bothered by his sore low back, but stayed in the game for his full 37 minutes: 22P (11 of 19 FG’s), 14R, 5A, 3S, 2B.
“He’s fine. He’s fine. He was able to get through the game and give us a lot of production.”

Whoooops! that'll be another injury...that might delay him 5-6months atleast!

I have a hard time believing Coach Ham. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z

Can someone please tell me why we traded for Mr Pat Bev
THT 14 points, 7 boards, 4 dimes, 2 steals off the bench for Utah (4-1) in 23 minutes. Rob fleeced again….
Naw. Let's be real. Lot's of people in Laker Land were calling for the Lakers to unload THT, and were ecstatic when they moved him, for Bev. I remember battling with people why that trade was garbage. Too late for recriminations, now. Just gotta ride it out.
