When the Warriors got hurt and were terrible, they got great young players.

You can’t even tank with this team in a draft year with an absolute generational talent because Pelinka decided for some unbelievable reason to include a pick swap..

I’m sure the Pelicans were going to let the trade die on the vine if we didn’t include a pick swap in 2023.

Has Rob made a single good move since he’s been hired? It seems like everything he’s done has just blown up.. and I don’t count the Davis deal at this point. Davis wanted to come here and the Lakers gave up more assets than any trade in NBA history. Jim Buss could have put that deal together.

Bring on Cousins and Melo???

Noooooooooo, that is not a solution. Melo is defenseless
and kills any possibility of ball movement. Cousins is done
or he’d be on a team.

I’d PASS on both.

Dwight was thought to be done when we added him halfway through the season on to a championship run. Cousins may or may not be done, not being on a team doesn't necessarily denote that...take a look at him Rob and bring him in if he looks good.

I remember a time when losses would bug players.
Not anymore.

When you know all hope is lost, there’s no reason to be upset anymore. Anyone that thought we’d be any more than an 8th seed at best is delusional. We don’t have the talent to be any better.

Lebron, Russ, and AD aren’t the players they once were, and most of our role players wouldn’t see playing time on a playoff team. Lakers fans gotta be realistic, we were always going to be very bad this season. If you think we should be better, that’s on you for being unrealistic imo.

oh those that had an 8th seed thought are gonna be upset too!

Why do we let decent guys walk?

Someone has to take the reigns away from Jeanie Buss.
She’s a idiot, has to business being involved in basketball. Stay with womens wrestling…more her IQ level.

And how does Pelinka get an extension??? HOW???????

We didn't let him walk (unlike AC, whom we had his Bird rights). We didn't have the exceptions/cap space/Bird rights available to match Monk's offer.

Thanks for confirming. Sad.

We have three overly bloated contracts and the rest g-league caliper players.
NOT THE WAY TO BUILD A TEAM!!!!!!

* O for October.
* Never thought it would happen on a Lebron James team.
* Anthony "4-6 weeks" Davis is back on the bench. No surprise there.
* What to do about Westbrook? Sometimes, he's either an asset or an ass.
* Lebron is not controlling the end of these games like Kobe used to.
* 0-12 is my prediction.
Dammit.

Turnovers killed us tonight... Role players are just too inconsistent. With AD out we needed more from them tonight.

Walker had a bad game... PatBev is not giving us anything on offense. Nunn seems like in a dog house for some reason.

Jones gotta go... He's just seems small out there for a big. Need a big who's physical down low.

All I feel is apathy at this point. Didn't bother watching a single minute of it.

Lebron looked exhausted in the second half tonight. They need to find a way to limit he and ADs minutes somehow. But it will be tough given the roster issues.

Roster construction sucks the last 2 seasons. He is playing way more minutes as he is getting older. Which should be the other way around. I think that's how much of a failure Westbrook trade was. Who suppose to provide us that 3rd scorer and handler. Also our role players are just not stepping up. Then add that AD can't stay healthy. So they have to rely on him even more.

First 3 seasons - 34mpg
Last 2 seasons- 37mpg

The “goat” can’t pull out one of these close games ? Just 1 ? Clippers/blazers/wolves were winnable. With the names on this team and the payroll 0-5 is unacceptable.

He’s in his 20th season. Even though he’s still light years ahead of any other player’s 20th season, father time is catching up.
