He's doing amazing for his age.
He's just not a dominant player any more.
I mean if CJ can block him... it's getting closer to the end. |
You’re totally wrong.
He can dominate anytime he wants.
He’s sick and has a really sore ankle.
Can still play-make, score and block shot.
He’s not 100% and he’s not 25 but he’s not washed. |
I see, so he's been letting teams win those first five games. |
I am not going to argue with you. Lebron hater, I get it.
First 5 games, some were close, offense struggled but defense was good.
Lebron was putting up 25.2 points a game during that time.
Lakers offense has struggled, that is why they started 0-5.
That’s on everyone, not just Lebron.
Hey, I was frustrated at some of his hero ball shots at the end.
But, I know he was trying and not 100% today. |
Nope, just not a LBJ dick rider.
What part of amazing for his age did you not understand?
He will still win some games... he's still better than over 90% of the players... he just is showing his age... and it's not just this game.
He's now among the mortals where he used to be above everyone.
If that's a hater... then sure I'm a hater. |

Gotta say, was a pretty solid overall team effort
Lonnie great, AD good, Westbrook a super-spark in the first half, PatBev with some clutch plays, Doordash with the clutch shot, TBJ with another good all-round game, Reaves with some smart plays, hell even Gabriel’s hustle was good
All this with LeBrick in full swing _________________ #18 next... |

Pat Bev not worth it...0-3 with 4 rebounds and 3 assists then with 2 turnovers tho he did have a steal...his replacement would not have had to lock up CJ if he didn't make 2 turnovers or could make a shot.
Lack up production of Bev outweighs his defense by a mile...zero points from a starter? In 27+ minutes? with 2 turnovers? Low assists and rebounds? Get him outta here. |

Lebron and WB tho 1 for 11 = 9 faulking percent...count it 9%
We can't keep doing that. |
@HFR, MRyan entering this game was shooting 54% from 3pt. He is our best 3pt shooter. |

People acting as if he's some scrub getting over hyped. Dude is 10X more skilled than Caruso.
Caruso is the cream of the crop when it comes to defense but literally in every other aspect of basketball Reaves has him beat. Dude is supremely skilled and i love that he's being way more assertive. Reaves last season wouldn't do half the things he's doing this season.
I love that we're finding these diamonds in the rough. Only to absolutely shaft them and let them go and sign Jamal Crawford.... |
There is literally zero chance Caruso can make a pass like that |
Not only that, Reaves has much better handles and can actually shake defenders off of him with his dribble. Better at getting to the rim, and (though not great at it) he’s better at the dribble pull up shot than Caruso is |

I would agree with you, but we shot historically low the first 5 games. That's more of an anomaly that contribute to our losses. This team is better than that. |

He just doesnt have the stamina anymore. It takes a lot out of his legs to bang with others down low. Thats why he just hangs around the perimeter and settles. If the game was 5 minutes long he'd be fine

Dont agree at all. Bev was great for us down the stretch. He was fantastic on defense and got huge rebounds on offense down the stretch. Also got a steal.
CJ was literally getting wherever he wanted in the 4Q until Bev was put on him.
Last season wasn't that long ago where we had absolutely zero perimeter defending getting cooked by everyone.
Bev is one of the most important players on our team. |

Fair points, but your comment is a little contradictory. You say he's still better than 90% of the players, but he's no longer dominant and showing his age? If by closer to the end you mean years remaining versus how many he's already played, you are absolutely correct. But if he is indeed still better than 90% of the players (I say it's more like better than 75-80 percent), that says he's still pretty dominant. |

Can’t help to wonder what if we had Troy Brown Jr. At the start of the season with Russ buying into his Manu Ginobili role???
Great win and yes to repeat it again should of never came down to OT with Matt Ryan’s heroics

Evidently a lot of folks missed this in the first quarter. His foot has been the reason he's been on the Injury Report this season (although they have not been specific about what it is).
Per Buha
LeBron James is sitting to the side of the Lakers' huddle with his left shoe off. He's been battling left foot soreness. Appears to be in some pain.

I don't think it's an anomaly. We are a bad shooting team. Maybe not historically bad like in the first few games, but not much better. If the team can show more discipline and stop taking so many 3's (something they don't seem inclined to do), then they can be better than they've shown. However, if they continue jacking up 3's at the rate they have been so far, then they ARE a bad team. |

I want them both to stay lol. If Brodie is playing like this coming off the bench. Im not trading Bev. He's our best perimeter defender.
Bev is needed against elite PG's down the stretch.
Im confident Bev's shooting will come around as well. Im not giving up on him.

At this super early stage of the season we still gotta ride with them both.
I’m certain Bev will start hitting shots. Unlike Kendrick Nunn , when Pat ain’t scoring he doesn’t lack effort everywhere else.
Russ finally got his swagger back and if he keeps this up he’ll be gunning for that 6th man of year award! |

That I agree with. He can't carry mediocre teams to the finals. But his "individual" game is still pretty dominant. He needs good players around him for the "team" to be good, just like the other mere mortals.
