PRELIM INJURY REPORT

Per Buha (press release at link)

The Lakers list Anthony Davis (low back tightness) as questionable and LeBron James (left foot soreness) as probable for tomorrow’s game vs. Utah.

Let's make it 3 in a row Lakers!

Last 2 games were very encouraging on defense, effort, and players coming up big under pressure. I like the lineup realignment, keep this up!

If we win we improve to 3-5. If we lose we fall back to 2-6. The key will be scoring more than them, then we win for sure

Our offense needs to continue to improve. That will be the key to getting over .500.

We need to aim for 30+ fast break points each night, do a better job of getting the ball into AD when we don't have anything, and for heaven's sake, hit some damn 3-pointers!

Utah Jazz (6-3) leaders:
Lauri Markkanen - 21.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game followed by Jordan Clarkson - 17.1 per game.
Mike Conley - 7.1 assists per game.
The Jazz are 2nd in the league in three pointers made.
The Jazz lead the league with 24.3 fouls per game.

LA Lakers (2-5) leaders:
LBJ - 25 points, 7.4 assists per game
AD - 11.5 rebs, 2.3 blocks per game.

*LA DEFENSE:
Quote:
Darvin Ham has the Lakers also switching a lot less.
They’ve switched just 10% of ball-screens, the league’s second lowest rate (only the Knicks have switched less frequently) and down from 26% (11th highest) last season.
According to Second Spectrum, the Lakers have defended 56% of opponent ball-screens (the league’s highest rate) with “soft” coverage.

We need to continue to win games like this. 3-5 if we win 2-6 if we lose. It doesn't seem like a big deal right now, but these easier home games now will not be so easy late in the season.

We're also healthy right now. Utah has a decent record, but we should be beating teams like this at home with Lebron/AD and WB as 6th man. Getting some solid team D. At some point we'll start to have situations where we won't have the same health from the stars. So we need to take advantage and win the games we should be at home.

i fully expect us to blow them out tonight
i know they are 6-3, but i don't think they are that good, in fact they were just 3-3 in their last 6.

probably the easiest or the 2nd easiest game so far. they gotta to win.

We have the defense to clamp their players. Just hoping AD and Bron are right tonight and it's an easy win.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis were both excused from Friday’s shootaround to get time off their feet before the game, per the Lakers. James (foot) remains probable and Davis (back) questionable for tonight.

Let me save you guys the trouble of looking. Davis will be questionable for the foreseeable future.

Keys will be hitting shots (this is going to be a 'key' every night), as well as properly defending the three-point line

Then we're in with a good chance

The hope would be that Bron is over his 'flu-like symptoms' I guess
