at PHX has a higher chance of win than at the spurs? if anything, i would think that game along with the 26th (back to back) at the spurs are loses, and the 25th game is a win.

This team lost many games with a healthy AD/LBJ/WB...I don't see them winning many games even with Bryant/Schroeder coming back unless a roster upgrade is made with a trade.

Surely the Lakers can beat the Spurs at least once in three tries and I'm hoping for a win against the Pistons. What other games can the team realistically expect to win? Which games would the Lakers be a favorite? San Antonio and Detroit are the only sub .500 teams among the next 7 and Indiana is at .500 with a 6-6 record.

Obviously as a fan I hope I'm wrong but 2-5 is likely the outcome for the Lakers in the next 7 games.

Optimistically, if the Lakers can win 2 of 3 against the Spurs, plus wins over the Pistons and Pacers then perhaps 4 wins is the best that can be expected...4-3

Off to a good start ...... regardless of whether LBJ is in the lineup, we need to take care of business against the Spurs. Pop will ensure his team plays us hard.

spurs is playing bad now from a good start of the season. They are 1-9 last 10 games. Lakers Should capatalize on it and get 3 wins against them.

5-2 is achievable in this 7 game schedule. Just beat the teams they supposed to beat and weaker to them on paper.

5-2 is realistic based on the opponents level. Lets see ours. Good start at 1-0. Can AD keep this up against better competition? Better teams are also better at ball denial into the paint. This may be a key thing.

They'll probably get blown out at Phoenix and lose 1 of 2 at San Antonio. I don't think Portland is as good as their record indicates, so the rest of the games should be winnable.

If CP3 remains out of the lineup, and Bron returns for that one, we have a chance. Need to wrap Booker up in a blanket of Pat Bev all game.

Keep it going Lake Show, and maybe by the end of the month we will be feeling much better about ourselves.

It’s really frustrating because we had three games basically in the bag if we didn’t screw up the last few minutes of the game:

vs Portland
vs Clippers (first one)
vs Kings

If we just closed out the final three minutes of each of these games right, we would’ve been 8-7 right now.

My hope too, new team, new coach, unhealthy AD… should be better now

It looks like the Lakers will be at least 5-2 in these seven games.

Took care of business against the Spurs ...... not easy winning 3/3 against any team, even a terrible one.

Dame will likely be out on Weds against the blazers so we need to take advantage of that one. Pacers have been pretty solid but hopefully we can bring our defensive energy that we brought against the suns for that one (unlike todays game)

Lakers really were fortunate yesterday with Brooklyn missing key players, Lakers are still in dire need of making trades, those Spurs match ups btw are gonna be real tough, the Spurs have always been a difficult match up for any Lakers team to deal with, that Nets win could have easily been the easiest game they will have for the rest of the month.

Good takes. I think they passed the Spurs test. All three wins were pretty convincing and in the hardest game of the stretch in Phoenix the team was competitive.

Unfortunately even with Dame out, Jerami Grant has been beasting, and Simons has been channeling his inner Steph Curry.

Two players that will likely have a field day against us. Especially Grant.

If they go 15-15 that means they just went 13-5. If they can keep up that pace they can have home court in the first round with a 50-32 record.

Well we did it ...... 5-2!

The record only tells half the story. This team looks so much better (even in defeat) than it did at the beginning of the season. AD is back to his beasting ways, and TB and DS have been solid additions.
