O-line is the biggest reason... but not the only. Stafford is not cutting it. Perhaps it's the elbow or other ailments or... (like Goff in the past) a great O-line enabled them to shine whereas a weak O-line highlighted their poor decision making.

Von on D made a world of difference. I think the D is still strong... If the Offense was killing it I don't think the D would be that much of an issue.

Read this link and see if there are correlations. Many of the reasons fit the Ram's season.

Rams lost players to free agency. The players that replaced them were nowhere as good. Its all downhill from there.

Saints have some defenders out as well, I know that Cam Jordan isn’t playing.

Their offensive line is hurting too.

Bandaid-ed offense without a legit offensive line. No surprises here. RAMs have had no offensive rhythm from game 1 without an offensive line.

This offensive line has taken down our top two QBs

They're playing with 50% of their offense on the sidelines injured, Kupp and Stafford.

Probably not gonna go well if you gotta rely on your backup QBs to try to get some sort of offense going.

Los Angeles Rams waive rushing leader Darrell Henderson Jr.

Quote:
LOS ANGELES -- The Rams waived running back Darrell Henderson Jr., the team announced Tuesday.

Henderson played just four snaps in Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints, with Cam Akers and rookie Kyren Williams getting the majority of the work in the backfield.

On Monday, Rams coach Sean McVay said Henderson "felt his knee" during pregame drills.

"He felt a little something in his knee and that was kind of what led to Cam and Kyren getting the majority of the work," McVay said. "But he said he felt fine [Monday]."

Quote:
The Rams on Tuesday also waived linebacker Justin Hollins from the 53-man roster and tight end Kendall Blanton from the practice squad.

The Rams claimed Hollins off waivers in September 2020, and he became a regular member of their rotation as an edge rusher. He had six sacks in 34 games with the Rams, including five starts this season while playing in all 10 games.

A 3-9 defending Super Bowl Champion Team?

Egads.

When you are 3-9 and a 7 pt. underdog at home to a bad Raiders team, you know the train is off the tracks.

Well Mcvay got to the Super Bowl with Goff as QB. Getting the offense to run with Baker is probably easier.

Although this wasn't all on him, Carr is probably the most overrated QB in the NFL. I get that he hasn't had stability, but for a guy that somebody (every year) always mentions as a dark horse MVP candidate, he has left a lot to be desired for many many years. I'd take a good number of guys without his numbers over him.

NBA and NFL have the same problem where different things have lead to an era of overinflated stats. Carr, Cousins... Harden, Westbrook, etc. You have these guys with HOF numbers who have little success outside of fantasy football/basketball.

The Raiders are just horribly coached. When it was 4&1 going into the two minute warning and everyone was just standing around waiting for the clock to stop I knew the choke was in. Anyone with half a brain says rush to the LOS and try and draw the Rams offsides. If your plan is to punt it there is no reason not to. I don't even like the Raiders but that was maddening to watch.

There's nothing more Raider-like than giving up two stupid penalties to keep a last minute, game winning, 98 yard drive alive.
