After the game, Hamm and the Suns coach Williams had a conversation and Williams was basically telling Hamm how he didn’t like what Beverley did, and Hamm accepted what he had to say. The conversation was very civil, but Hamm should have told Williams that his players are punk a** b***hes and that they are lucky Booker didn’t get his teeth knocked in. Oh well…

Ham** should've hit him with a stone cold stunner, slammed some beers together and walked out of there as his music hit... yeah?

Should have rock bottomed him and hit the people's elbow.
So silly of him to be civil when his softness was in jeopardy.

…what?

I don’t at all condone Beverley’s behavior mostly because it came from HIM specifically. I say that because the dude has been total trash and a detriment to the team on the court.

If he were actually at least average as a player, I would respect it. But he’s not, he provides donuts for stats in 30 minutes of playing time. Playing time that should be distributed elsewhere.

It would have been even manlier if Ham waited until Monty had his back turned so he could cheap shot him. That’s how REAL tough guys handle their business.

So many internet tough guys who think they know what professionals should do despite not being good enough to be a professional themselves. Williams had his say, Ham had his and they reacted like men and went on their way.

Is this sarcasm?

So being cordial and hearing out someone else’s point of view is being soft now? Nah it’s called being an adult.

Mean mugging and being confrontational over a childrens game makes you a child. That’s the one thing I like about todays players for the most part, they can compete against eachother without any of the silly immature bitterness and disdain for the opposition that plagued the 80s and 90s.

All the mouthing off and cheap shots of yesteryear look so dumb now that I’m in my thirties. Grown men trying to act tough playing a childrens game lol.

OP is 13 years old confirmed.

I half expected this thread to be erotic fanfic.

If your team consists of Jae Crowder, Chris Paul, and Devin Booker, you have no leg to stand on when criticizing other players' antics. Not it looks like mentally-checked-out Ayton has joined the loser complex guild.

AD doesn't go down and the Suns get convincingly upset in the first round in 2021. If there was any doubt, look to the following season where they roared back in the regular season and got upset convincingly by the Mavericks. They rode an injured bubble tax western conference all the way to the Finals, and they would have lucked into winning it if Giannis wasn't a cyborg that fended off a hyperextended knee.

They know they're pretenders, and they act like it.

The issue with Phoenix is similar to the issue with the Clippers, at least the Clippers of pass...jealously. Regular season wins is all they can claim over the Lakers, so they make the most of it; flexing, chest puffing, mad dogging. Teams don't exert that much energy over a simple win unless there is more behind it. Lakers, as bad as they are now, are still NBA Champions, recently and historically.

The Suns? Clippers?

You see were their anger is coming from now?

As far as Mr. Ham and Pat Bev, head coaches are paid to take the high road, especially rookie head coaches. Bev did what any NBA or NHL enforcer should; stand up to bullying. Nothing new there. NBA in past decades was all about bullying the bullies. I will say this, though...Mr. Kardashian Jenner wannabe is lucky he's playing in today's league. Back in the 1980s, a fake-tough guy like him would have been introduced to a Michael Cooper elbow to the jaw.

You must not have much experience playing pickup games in the hood.

If that’s how it is in the “hood” then they need to grow up too. Getting into physical altercations over childrens game makes you a clown. Not tough.

The hood is not some place nor mentality that should be idolized.

Want him to ask Monty to come closer to tell him something in private and then proceed to go Mike Tyson and gnaw that ear off.

Wait, Hamm didn't stand up for Reaves? Well, there goes our general. The battalion might as well retreat if going into battle with such a soft general.

Monty's boys were throwing cheap shots and taunting in the second half, they deserved a little push back, maybe Beverly went a little overboard but those guys definitely needed someone from the Lakers to get in their faces.

Bev is a punk. Booker is a punk. Ayton did a punk move. None of that changes that we still suck.
