I don’t like LeBron James. I’ve tried to ignore the off the court stuff but his latest “oh KI learned his lesson it’s not fair that he can’t play” stuff after he was oh so quick to cast judgement for an owner to LOSE his team as being the only “fair” judgement has me cornered into being unable to ignore it. Can’t wait till he’s gone. I don’t care how good at basketball he is. I will be happy when there are folks on the team I don’t dislike.

Well said.

On the court, he’s brilliant. No denying that, even at this stage of his career compared to other 38+ year olds.

Off the court, he lies, talks out of both sides of his mouth depending on what benefits his world and he’s just ultra passive aggressive with Barry Bonds or AROD like insecurities about how people view him.

His play is no longer worth the headache. Cleveland made that decision in 2018 and the Lakers were lucky to have covid happen with the built in break to the season in assisting LBJ and Day to Davis get to the finish line.

The Lakers will be better once this Klutch era is done with…although the caveat to that is Jeanie sells or she hires a competent basketball ops exec and his/her staff and not just her best friends.

Why is it always caveated with “compared to other 38 yr olds”.

He makes 50 a year and misses tons of games and has had zero impact on keeping us from lottery.

They gave him the golden parachute like he was Kobe to us SMH
yeah he will never be close to what Kobe was to LA yet wants to be treated as if he were Kobe. In the words of the real king of LA (RIP) - SHIP HIS ASS OUT!!

I like Lebron. I feel bad that our roster the past couple years has philosophically poorly constructed despite the advantages in our favor. My biggest critique of him this year is I don’t believe his leadership has been great whatsoever. Hoping that will change.

The clippers have built a roster where they can still win 43 games without their best player. It was obvious that we needed a well rounded roster but we traded complementary parts for garbage. I can’t help but feel for Lebron.

Yesterday the Bucks didn’t have Giannis, Middleton & Jrue. They still beat the thunder in OT. I don’t think we can do that even with just Lebron out. If we had AD & Bron out no chance.

The arrogance of Pelinka & Kurt have caused these issues. Even Dwight would have been better than Damian this year. It’s now gotten to the point where it’s in our best interest to trade him.

^^ I'm not a fan of Lebron the player (but rooting for him as he's a Laker), and it's just a shame he will likely be breaking the scoring record while the Lakers might very well be one of the last teams on the standings.

Sure he's making crazy money playing bball and part of the blame for the roster construction does go to him, but as one of the greats in the game it's just unfortunate.

I remember he broke another record as a Laker and the crowd's reaction just wasn't really into it at a home game

LeBron made an interesting comment about Aaron Rogers last night.

I wonder if he was hinting at another franchise player with this comment.

Yeah it just feels wrong. Should have shipped him to Cleveland especially with Markkanen balling out. They love him no matter how many times he leaves and it would have been fitting. It's just a weird celebration. I'm not mad at the guy but I couldn't care less about the record and would have rather been able to rebuild already.

Lebron has learned the art of manipulation from all the rich A- holes he has been around since he was a boy. Passive aggressive is their language.

The Spurs have lost 7 in a row. We have a 1 game winning streak. There are only 2 teams worse than we are in the west and the Spurs are one of them. Great job GOAT.

Almost had that triple double.
Glad he's healthy.
And he gets to find some rhythm against the lowly spurs.

Thankful for the title he helped bring to LA in a year we mourned with broken hearts but honestly, I'm ready to see a Laker team sans LeBron.

Looks like Jason Mamoa did a number on his quickness. He was looking mighty challenged quickness-wise, to start the season. And, that was BEFORE he injured his abductor. I was curious how he was going to look, after some rest. Still looks like he lost at least a few steps. Going to have to adjust his game accordingly.

His athleticism is almost non existent right now, hopefully it’s just a matter of getting into game shape.

Encouraging to see his jump shot coming around. There was no way he was gonna continue to shoot as poorly as he did to begin the season.

And, the funny thing about it is, time hasn't affected ALL of his athleticism. Just the quickness/speed. He can still jump with the best of them, though. We were fortunate that this was one of those good shooting nights, for LeBron. He's a very streaky shooter. Not a great thing to rely on, which is why he should make more of an impact, working closer to the basket. Get free with screens, curls, picks...keep moving, so the defense can't just load up as easily.

That is a ridiculous take. Dude looks amazing athletically, running and dunking on players young enough to be his kids. He's not the same as when he was 21, but no one else has been what LBJ was at 21, either. The man is still a unicorn - moreso at nearly 40.

When he does get into game shape, if he and AD are healthy, this team has a puncher's chance.

The usual suspects, who normally put up 10 posts a day taking a dig at Lebron, are mysteriously absent from LG this evening. Games like this are very difficult for them.
