Keep your heads up, fellas. At least we aren’t the Timberwolves. |
What a dumbass trade by them for Gobert…ruined their franchise ascension. Back to the mediocre treadmill, Twolves. |

The Gobert trade was bad, but he's the least of their problems. He's just a terrible fit on any team that's undisciplined on both ends of the floor. The loss of Vanderbilt and Beasley hurt their perimeter defense, too. DLo is as good as gone, and it will be the KAT-Ant-Gobert show. Their success will be predicated on how much ANT improves and the kind of perimeter defenders they surround Gobert with. |

To be fair, they were kind of topped out and Gobert essentially gets played off the floor every year in the playoffs, so they decided to cash out and tank. Unfortunately, they were better at cashing out than tanking. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Man, if you're the kind of player that pisses Brook Lopez off, you gotta reevaluate your life choices. |

Clippers lost to the same sixers at home with full Squad, and the game was out of their hands at the end. |

Sure helps that we got 2 Ws against juggernaut Denver. Better take advantage of that and win some games against teams vying for top 10 who may lose all 4 (or all 3) to Denver. |

Pop tried to lose last night but the Nets wouldn't let him. Those are fun games to watch... raw talent trying to figure it out. |

Bad News. We can conceivably begin a 25 game losing streak starting tonight. The next month is going to be brutal for Laker Nation. |

The KD/Stan commentary was funny.

Stan went boomer on KD and KD had to clarify that he agreed with him.
It was a nice and productive exchange. As echoed in this thread, specialization and playing sports all year round are killing players' bodies. They are graveyards by the time they enter the NBA. Zo and BI are two notable examples. There was an insider report on BI's toes being so messed up. Hell, DLo was getting PRP injections at age 20. It's a big issue, and it will get worse before it gets better. |

Yup it’s a big problem…overuse injuries before puberty and kids are playing so much more of their chosen sport now, compared to 30-40 years ago when it was just during school season and maybe a quick summer league.
The system as currently constructed hurts more than helps. Even Kobe talked about how kids should play multiple sports and shouldn’t choose to focus on one throughout your school years. |

The Joker is staring a third MVP in the face. Man, he's so good. |

The only thing making this season halfway tolerable for me is knowing the Suns and Clippers suck as much as we do. The damned Suns may not even make the playin. At least we weren't predicted to win it all like they were. |

Like Zach Lowe said, no player more effectively exploits the spacing of the current NBA. He could win several more MVPs given his durability. |

Back to only five games behind the Pels in the loss column.
Catching them would be a huge win for us this season. |
