FYI, Ramona didn't know squat.
Davis is coming back next week.
Haters can hate. His foot did not fall off. This is not season ending or career ending. Fools making crap up in the media....

They've been reporting various forms of the "pain free" update for really the last week but really heavily in the last few days they've been saying that. So that's great but I have to say that I'm with halflife that the concern is it's a stress injury. Is it one false move in a game and we're right back here again? Is it a pain tolerance issue? I am happy for him but it's hard to get excited when I'm not really sure I understand what it means going forward for the rest of the season.

I feel this...no way in hell he would think of playing if he had any type of pain and/or a risk to cause further injury. No way, no how. No one is going to risk that....
So, if he is so-called "pain free" and there is no significant damage or threat to further damage, then he will play.....no way he plays if he's not 100 cleared by all doctors and trainers....he's not that stupid...

It’s minute to minute Anthony Davis. Nobody should be happy he is back… might get injured just walking up to the arena

The “pain free” news doesn’t mean that much to me. When Embiid had a stress fracture to his navicular bone he was reported to be pain free and was even seen running and dunking during pre-game while he was sitting out.

AD didn’t have stress fracture though, he had stress reaction. The fractured part was his bone spur.
I feel he will be a walking time bomb with this until he removes the bone spur in the off season. Really hard to get excited

Really wish we would bring in Kyle Kuzma and get a 10 day contract on a big so that we don’t have to play Davis so many minutes whenever he gets back

Per McTen

L.A. Lakers star big man Anthony Davis will return to the lineup Wednesday vs. SAS, barring any setback during his pregame warmup, league sources told ESPN. He will be back in the lineup 5 1/2 weeks after suffering a fractured bone spur and stress reaction in his right foot

First of all, don’t rush him back!

IMO, we should wait another week at least.

Most IMPORTANTLY is that Ham DOESN’T play him to death already!

Gotta ease him back, first game 25 minutes NO MATTER WHAT!

Then see how he does & eventually build his minutes up, BUT STILL PLAY BRYANT & GIVE A.D. REST!

The second he hopples take him out & he’s done rest of game!!!

Darvin Ham says Anthony Davis, who has missed 20 straight games with a right foot stress injury, will play tonight against the San Antonio Spurs.
