The tale of the game is two times in the fourth, Lillard couldn’t even dribble versus Pat on the inbound pass and had to give it up. The third time he tried to beat pat by getting the ball ahead of him and that’s how hart through the ball to Pat. Even Dames last attempt he literally flopped and air balled a three because he was having problems with Pat

Beverly deserves game ball tonight. He literally shut down the head of their snake and set a tone from the third quarter on … which is why he did the broken watch motion to the front row to check if it was still dame time

You said that at a very dumb time. He literally picked up dame 94 feet all second half and shut it down. He set a tone. He even got a crucial 50/50 play with Hart.

And he’s never in his career missed the playoffs, been a rotation player or starter on every playoff team too. If that’s not a winner, what the hell are guys like Hart, Ingram, Ball, and the like?

Beverly, IMO, will have tremendously more impact and value for us us come playoff (should we make it) than Russ. Wouldn't mind keeping him and the way he was hounding Dame and getting in his head down the stretch was a reminder of that. Good stuff, PB.

I think this is true.

Regular season, Russ will put up more gaudy stats.

But in the playoffs, I would prefer Pat over Russ. We really shouldn't keep both as they are our #1 and #4 biggest contracts, i.e., best trade assets.

Pat has never missed the playoffs and they need the leadership in the locker room. The lakers last year free fell not with the injuries but the second they traded away rondo and didn’t have a locker room police. They have pretty much been real competitive and he’s been a big part of it all even on inside the lakers with his time he puts in with Reeves and Christie and others. He’s a glue guy, ask Minny

Agree w yin, use the trade assets now since all are expiring. I think DS-Reaves-Max can lessen the loss of PatBev perimeter defense

It isn’t just about play it’s about a voice. Lebron voice in LA has never carried weight in the locker room and he’s lost the locker room or staff every year besides the year he had a rondo and Dudley in there. Beverly is the voice and has been since he came there.

Even the message of Beverly of turn your swag up around Lebron resonates back to what Frank used to say with Rondo. He played Rondo because Rondo had swag and it ignited the team and kept its attention. Bev does it for this group.

Kudos to Pat-Bev tonight!
Dude kept us in it early with his shooting, leadership and aggression.

18 Pts (6-12 w/ 3 treys), 2 Rbs, 2 Stls.

When Pat Bev plays well, I have no problem giving him his roses. Definitely instrumental in the Lakers win, tonight. Thanks, Bev!

That said, if the right deal presents itself, I'm trading him in a heartbeat. Hamm has some kind of bro-love for Bev, and it's unhealthy. Those two are in a toxic relationship...for the Lakers...and, they need to see other people.

I think Beverly is one of our most important players. He is playing an insane role in the development of Christie, Reaves, Rui and Brown. All under 24.

I like him as a player too. I wouldn't mind if we started him w limited minutes but not together with Dennis and playing 30 mpg.

Pat has been pretty clutch down the stretch the last 2 games. 3s and defense.

Minus the missed FTs, ghost fouls and tech.

He has his faults, but I like him. +16 today.

I actually like Pat and Dennis as our defensive guards together.
But not when Dennis struggles to hit shots. He needs to get his scoring back.
