Many, like Steve Kerr, is advocating for a 72 season

Legitimate question

If the players want this, are they willing to give up an equable percentage of their salaries - No

If HCs are going to rest their players, that is OK if the teams are willing to let fans know and/or provide refunds for those that came to see the superstars. Of course, this will not happen

What players are actually advocating for is a raise on their contract

Players will respond that the games will be better played. How many games should be in a season - 72 or 62 or 53.

Will a 72 game season stop load management and other BS excuses for players to not play in various game scenarios? If not, don't bother, because as a fan, I'm not getting a better product, yet I will be paying more per game (ticket prices would go up, league pass or other subscription prices wouldn't drop, and though player payroll MAY decline - assuming players were willing to take a cut, which they won't - that return isn't coming to me as a fan).

Problem with opening the Pandora's box to reduce games is sometime in the future 72 games might be too much. Then what?

Wrong direction. Do 100 games to make up for all of the load management.

Playoffs should be best of 9

mandatory fan voted 1v1 contests at all star saturday

AI Marv Albert or AI Chick Hearn should do play by play for every game

Adam Silver has to wear bag over his head for public appearances to avoid ruining appetites
