Both will be benched and possibly traded to match salaries within the next couple weeks so moot point. |

TBJ. At least JTA plays some defense and has a history of being a decent 3-point shooter, plus he played on a world championship team last year.
Hopefully Hachimura's arrival means much less playing time for TBJ. |

Are you just basing this off the past?
Because this year, JTA has been trash. Troy isn't elite but at least he can hit a 3. _________________ ππ π π π

I was hoping for JTA to be atleast somewhat playable. Dude is terrible.
I would do anything for LA to trade him for a future 2nd rounder. |

TBJ is one of our better defenders. He looks like he's been making his shots lately too. I like both guys, but I feel like TBJ is much better so far. |

TBJ hits 4th quarter 3s. We need that. |

JTA is just a bigger sized guard body that hustles. Thatβs it. |
Not true I was down on JTA also but saw this video on his workout with Phil Handy and was very impressed. NBA players are in the NBA for a reason

Not sure the disappointment in either TBH but Troy is a quasi 2nd string more like 3rd string SF/SG. JTA is a just a cheap tweener off the bench who plays hard without many (or any) other redeeming qualities other than seeming to be a great teammate. |

JTA is the odd man out for sure, he's a good vet and could give some defensive minutes/fouls if necessary, but doesn't bring any true offense to the table. TBJ has way more upside, youth and hasn't reached his ceiling yet. I don't think the Lakers will be able to keep either, but if we could I'd say TBJ is the pick here! |

Yes exactly, TBJ is clearly better and still has upside.
However, while JTA knows he's end-of-the-bench and is likely content with it, TBJ probably hopes for meaningful playing time so he can fetch a better-than-min contract in the future. |

Welcome to the Internet. Nobody is talking about Thomas Bryant. They are talking about Juan Toscano-Anderson & Troy Brown Jr.
Do you realize this are minimun players. At least they are better than the 8 players out of the league from last year team. |
