When the series is over. You should buy a PS4 and play the games.

Nah. I'm not into games. What is the object of the game? Is it killing the infected/zombies?

Lets talk again when S1 is over. I can't answer your question without spoiling the show.

OK. I can get the game plot with wiki. 👍🏾

I watched e03 of The Last of Us yesterday. Artistically it was a very good episode, but it didn’t do much to advance the storyline. Hopefully they make a little more progress in e04.

I started “Shrinking” this morning on the rowing machine. Really great first episode. Okay second episode. Third episode comes out Friday. I’ll definitely be sticking with it.

It’s about a therapist who has some issues in his own life, who decides to try some unconventional methods to help his patients.

The final season of SNOWFALL drops February 22, 2023. Who'll make it to the end Franklin or Teddy?

1923 is good. Heavy in moments but I like the genre.

One of the best episodes of TV ever. Sure it was a detour from the main storyline, but damn...

It was a divination but it tied the characters and the pandemic together. Tess and Joel were friends before the pandemic. The window with curtains blowing at the end was touching. It closed the question did Bill take the potion also?

Finished the 3rd season of Jack Ryan. It was as expected. Formulaic. If they canceled it today, I wouldn't really miss it, but I'll probably watch if it returns.

I finished the first episode of "The Recruit" on Netflix. It's about a young CIA lawyer that just started working for the agency. Seems to me that the show doesn't take itself too seriously, it's even funny at times, and has different pacing compared to, say, Jack Ryan and other spy shows. I kinda like it. Hope the rest of the season is as good as the first episode. I read that Netflix already renewed it for season 2.

I'm not ignoring you kik. I didn't see your post. Yes, I'm watching. I'm watching E3 as I ink this post.

I'm not normally a fan of episodic tv shows. But Poker Face is really good. The guest stars they bring on. The story telling. It's good.

I know Your Honor is average. But I can't stop myself from watching it.

It's a show with failed potential. IMDB gives it a 7.5. I think that's fair. But with this cast it should be 8.5+ easy. There's just something too slow about it.

I'm really sad to see the Showtime channel go.
So many classics came from the Showtime channel.
Dexter, Homeland, Shameless, House of Lies, Billions, Nurse Jackie, Tara, Weeds, Brotherhood, Californication.
End of an era.

Oh good. I was wondering about this one.

Has anyone watched the whole season of Pachinko on Apple TV? Looks really promising in episode 1 so far.

I wouldn't say it was a detour, nor that it didn't advance the storyline. It actually attempted (though lamely) to explain how things went so south so quickly with the outbreak. I am enjoying the show a bunch, because it is so well done, despite all the incredible plot holes and leaps. But seriously? Everything happened within 24-48 hours because all of the entire world's grain products got not only contaminated, but hit the store shelves on exactly the same day?

That said, the episode gave back story to how the government responded, what it meant to the populace and how there might be a network of people outside of the quarantine zones trying to help the uninfected out, how Joel and Tess factored into that network and how some might have managed to find refuge in the collapse of humanity.

It was a lovely episode that actually injected some true humanity into the storyline rather than all the cliched stuff that preceded it. While it may seem a bottle episode outside of the actual story, it did more to advance the story than the previous two episodes, which were not much more than another cliched apocalyptic zombie movie with a very clever new twist.

One of the best episodes of TV ever? Naw, but it was a very compelling and heart wrenching study of relationships, the desire to survive and the need for companionship. And it was executed excellently . . . OK, maybe "one of the best episodes of TV ever" isn't such an exaggeration after all . . .

Most of the review bombs for ep. 3 which couldn't take or accept the gay love story angle:
- "didn't add anything to the story..."
- "totally unnecessary ..."

One of the best ever on TV, though "Felina" is still the GOAT for me.

I'll be surprised if you feel the same way by the end of the season.

I haven't seen the Last of Us, but I agree about the Walking Dead. One of the biggest disappointments in TV history. They had a great show going, and then it just became a total waste of time because the writers had no answers to anything and kept the show going just to keep it going.

Ellie cusses like a drunken sailor. She and Joel are the only survivors when new characters are introduced. Her blood didn't work on Sam.

My son, the video gamer and total nerd told me to watch The Legend of Vox Machina on Amazon Prime. Thank God I didn't spend all that money on his college education for nothing.

If you like fantasy and animation with inappropriate amounts of sex and violence you should check it out.
