Los Angeles Lakers assign Max Christie to SBL on Sunday

On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced that they have assigned rookie guard Max Christie to the South Bay Lakers in the NBA G League.
The Lakers will be back in action on Tuesday at home when they welcome the Oklahoma City Thunder to Los Angeles, a game in which LeBron James could surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the top spot on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
Christie will likely be recalled by the team ahead of this game.
South Bay was led by Devin Cannady with 31 points on 11-18 FG (5-10 3PT).
Shaquille Harrison had 24 points (9-19 FG), 7 rebounds, 7 assists.
For the Clippers:
Xavier Moon scored a career high 44 points on 18-31 FG (6-10 3PT).
Nate Darling recorded a career-high 38 points on 12-21 FG (7-12 3PT).

The Lakers started strong and led much of the game to take a 124-102 win.
