Since I had to bump this thread, the Kings have been outscored 14-2 over the last 2 games.

If the unthinkable happens and they lose Game 4, we may need moderator intervention to rebury this thread on Page 47 of the Off Topic.

I'm taking a laissez-faire approach for the rest of this series.

Best of three and the Kings have stolen one on the road so far . . . 🤞

And upped it to 3-1. Love their fire tonight.

But now I’m glad it happened because that OT was fun to watch and a deflating way for Edmonton to lose.

I got home when it was 3-2 in the third period. Saw us get the PP goal to go up 4-2. Then we became stupid. Still on the PP, that blind centering pass from Moore just cannot happen. You have a 2-goal lead. If ever there was a time to just keep puck possession and make safe plays and shots on the PP, that was it, with a 2-goal lead with about 7 minutes to play. They had a previous rush up ice when it was 3-2 shorthanded and it's just a play you don't make. Less than 10 seconds later, it's in the back of the net and it's 4-3. That gave them life. Then we take a penalty and it's 4-4 like that. Obviously, I'm ecstatic that we got the win, but that game management with the 4-2 lead was atrocious. Even McLellan said in the post-game presser that those last 2 goals were "completely preventable." He also kept saying they have to play better to win Game 6 and that how they've played the last two games won't be good enough. He's clearly trying to set the bar higher.

GKG.

Yeah, the last several minutes of the 3rd were too tense. But I loved the tenacity right off the bat in OT. Hopefully they buckle down and take it home—not wild about a game 7 on the road possibility. Winning 3 out of 4 in Edmonton is a big ask.

Rather large game tonight, hopefully crowd is loud and rowdy and the Kings finalize.

Go Kings Go!
