Fun to watch him have a good night and a Lakers win.
Hope to see more of both. |

Hopefully it’s a sign of him being back to his old self. |
He took better 3s. On balance, nice rhythm, splash!
Where he has been getting into trouble has been settling for the step back off balance low percentage 3s. He only had a couple of them.
I liked seeing him taking it to the basket after he got pissed about the WB flagrant. He was forcing the issue and took advantage of the hyper sensitive refs. That does not happen every game.
Less 3pta is a good thing. Even his “back to normal” is 3/9. If quality shots, you can accept them. If stagnant offense and settling or the low percentage logo shots it is a problem.
Glad to see him have a solid offensive game. It was needed for the win. Even if against a completely overmatched injury riddled team. Seriously? A 138 pts? A win is a win though. |

This guy will probably drop 20 ppg at 45 years old. |

I agree. But it will be the sideshow, not competitive basketball. Similar to when Jordan played with Washington at the end of his career.
Just don’t want it to be on the Lakers. Unless he is getting a minimal contract and understands his role as a the next D. Rose, Shaq or Carmelo closing out a career. Doubt he ever accepts such a role. That is a problem.
James is on the decline. Extending him for $50m and insisting on making decisions as if he were 5 years younger is the Lakers issue.
As we saw last night he can still create some magic every few games. It’s Fools Gold. Buss can market that. Personally I’d love to see more wins. Apparently that is only my issue. |

Lebron needs time off, he can’t play 32+ minutes every game. See what happens with a week of rest? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Exactly. |
So you are saying the Lakers struggles are simply a scheduling issue |

Bron has led us to the lottery two out of 4 years. A first round bounce another year. Let’s see where we land this year. The only year we had success was when he had a four month break, no travel and minimal wear and tear.
What above says is that our 50 million a year guy for three more years is only effective when he has long stretches of rest. Fortunately or unfortunately he is a broken down player so he will get that rest, the hope is, which has yet to be proven can we win all or most of the games he does have the ability to play. _________________ Kobe.

This.
I also think the Lakers FO realizes this too. Why waste assets for help when your star players aren’t capable of being stars consistently. Yes, the numbers are there, but it’s not prime Lebron or even slightly declining Lebron impact.
Imo Lakers FO saw the writing on the wall last season and said (bleep) off LeGM, no more asset wasting unless we get a legit star/difference maker.
It’s a prove to us that you and AD are still that top duo and we will go from there…
This is a totally separate thing than Jeanie’s non-basketball marketing ploy of handing LeBron that contract. It’s a marketing no brainer. |

I don’t think this game got the Lakers closer to a deal. If anything LeBron is looking like an empty calorie player more often than not. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

The Lakers led by 9 heading into the 4th Q tonight. In the final frame, LAL shot 8-for-22 as a team, with LeBron James going 2-for-8, and the Pacers came back to win it, 116-115. Anthony Davis only took two shots in the 4th. L.A. is now 7-12. |

LeBron has a plus/minus of -4.0 on the season, playing largely with AD and the starters. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

I said before that AD and other Lakers don't play well when Lebron is in the game. They either defer to him too much or Lebron simply messes up the offensive flow.
I will be very happy when Lebron moves on to another team, or retires. I'm over him. |

He’s getting old right before our eyes. He can’t handle all that back and forth pushing the pace…he shouldn’t play more than 30 minutes a game. His legs can’t take it |

I think Father Time is catching up. He lost a step this season, no explosiveness to beat his defender, bully ball is a step behind and catching defenders in the chest rather than him directing the where the action is going. |

Does not help when your coach has you playing the whole 4th quarter with no rest. Suck to say it Ham has as much hand on this lost as Lebron. |

Good point.
I was hoping Ham would sub out Lebron when Russ came back in in the 4th. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |
