Was looking for a thread on this but couldn't find one anywhere...
What are you guys favorite shoes to play in? I'm looking to drop some coin pretty soon and want to get my money's worth, but feel somewhat overwhelmed with the shoe tech and variety that is out there, I'm new to this lol. From what I've seen I'm really liking the Curry 4's, KD9's, and Crazy Explosives. Thoughts? |

I wouldnt use Curry's or durants, etcc. (not that i own them as it is) to play bball as it is, i would just buy a bball shoe from Big 5/footlocker/champs and use those.
From what ive noticed, people by the big name baller bball shoes (Jordans, Lebrons, Currys, Durants, etc..) for social purposes because if your spending upwards of 100/200 bones for a shoe you might as well take good care of them _________________ Indianapolis Colts

Crazy Explosives are supposed to be really good. I’ve never personally tried them, but have heard good things. I do have the Crazylights though and I like them a lot. I also disagree with buying low end shoes from Big 5.. I’ve had those types before and the traction is invariably awful.
I’d say the 80-110 range is where it’s at for basketball shoes. You don’t need the KD’s or LeBrons for $150. But the Nike/Adidas team shoes (I.e Crazy Explosive, Crazylight, HyperLive, Zoom Rev, etc) are really quality shoes for a decent price.
You can also usually get older team models from a couple years ago (still new in box) on eBay for like 50-70 dollars too. If you go that route, check out the Nike Hyperrev 2015. That’s my favorite shoe to ball in bar none. |

"stock" shoes are basically as good as signature shoes, but much cheaper. Unless you're buying for the looks/status, I'd go with stock Adidas/Nike shoes (whatever fits you best). _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com
