If that’s his decision then good for him, he is just gonna waste his unique talent in POR.

Yeah, zero chance he is winning anytime soon and honestly i'd be absolutely shocked if he ever won there. With the right franchise and team he could be remembered as one of the all time greats imo instead of just a super good player that never actually won in his Career.

He should take lessons from Durant, Durant put up amazing stats in OKC but didn’t win until he left and went to GS.

Michael Porter 39 points

You know, the reason why Denver has played so well, even after Murray went down has been because of Porter Jr.

the last 25 Games he's averaged

22 PPG
8.3 REB
1.1 AST
0.9 BLKS
57.4% Field Goal
47.5% Three Point (on 6.3 attempts a game)
77,9% Free Throw

And since Murray has gone down, he's averaged

24.8 PPG
6.3 REB
1.2 AST
1.5 BLKS
58.2% Field Goal
54.9% Three Point (on 8.5 attempts a game)
83,3% Free Throw

The Nuggets have gone 5-1 in that stretch, losing only to Golden State.

10 teams passed on this kid. Milwaukee passed on him, The Clippers and Chicago had a chance to draft him TWICE before he was drafted, Phoenix had a chance to draft him AND Ayton in the same draft and Portland decided to draft Anfernee Simmons RIGHT before Porter Jr got drafted. Wonder if they're kicking themselves now.

I dont blame anyone for passing on him. He was a huge gamble considering the injury and lack of post high school tape to evaluate him on.

CP3 = Moby Dick to the Lakers. Chasing him for a decade plus now to no avail.

Yahoo: Clippers signing Boogie for the rest of the season. In 8 games averaged 6.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 48.8% field, 50.0% 3-point in 11.5 mins.

So who's going to get more PT in the playoffs? Boogie or Marc?

i was impressed until i looked at the teams they played since Murray went down.
5th seed would be the best for the lakers. i'd still rather play denver without murray than a red hot clippers.

I wouldn't mind playing the Nuggets at all in the 1st round. We would be matchup hunting MPJ all day, though Gordon gives some good LBJ defense as a bigger and athletic wing.

At this point, it's out of his hands. He's signed through the end of 2025, at which point he'll be turning 35.

He took a 4 year, $192 million extension in 2019. Can't blame him for that. The team was coming off a western conference finals appearance.

Yeah, but Durant was in a unique position. He was a free agent when the league revenues allowed the cap to zoom up, giving the Warriors enough space to sign him.

That was a once in league history event. It's not easy for a guy like Lilliard to get a $200 million contract from a team that is only one piece away from winning.

Anfernee Simons is still only 21. If McCollum was traded he takes over. They should have kept Trent Jr.

I have no clue why the Cavs were so motivated to bring him back, everyone already knows they are rebuilding and are trying to see what Sexton and Garland can do together bringing him back in a losing environment is a idiotic decision by the Cavs brass.

There's more than enough good basketball going around for me to ever care about Devin Booker. I'm just over here quietly waiting out his retirement. May he pass from the NBA in peace.

He's helping his team by embracing the tank. He knows better than the young Cavs what it takes to really win in the NBA, and they aren't winning anything meaningful without Cade Cunningham.

Yep. I see people talking about whether players want money or rings. They want both. If it comes right down to it, they'll take the money and spend the rest of their lives regretting that they didn't win a ring, while sipping a fruity drink on their private island.

The reality of a 30-team league is that most great players are never going to win a ring. Chris Paul probably won't. Giannis may not. Meanwhile, a lesser player like Irving may win multiple rings. While I'm sure Lillard would regret never winning a ring, he'd get over it.

And there's the you never know factor. Lillard could turn down a ton of money to go after a ring and not win a ring. Nothing's guaranteed.... Well, nothing but the money.

On the other hand, Portland could in the next couple of years land someone and end up winning a ring. Weirder things have happened. I doubt for Lillard's part when he signed that big contract that he automatically reconciled himself to never winning a ring.

Speaking of tank, OKC has lost something like 14 in a row and most of them not even close. They can end the season on a 25 game losing streak (doubt it)...but Hinkie is somewhere nodding his head.

It's been really impressive. If Minnesota and Detroit keep winning meaningless games down the home stretch, OKC could hit the sweet spot of the third worst record.

SGA is a future star, Poku and Maledon are at least fun, you get a 14% shot at Cade Cunningham, and you have swap rights for the Rockets pick if it falls below #4? And no one cares because you run a small market team and aren't trying to impress your MBA buddies by branding tanking as a "Process" like you invented it? Presti makes Hinkie look like a dollar store Elon Musk.
