If Kidd is our head coach, Luke will have some serious competition for worst coach in the WC.

Kidd didn't do that poorly as a head coach. His career coaching percentage is .491. With his rosters in Brooklyn and Milwaukee he made playoffs and had some winning records.

As a rookie coach/ex player. He did better than Fisher, Hornacek, Walton

He had a career losing record and we're acting like that's good?

Mark Jackson had a *winning* record and made playoffs too. Whoop de doo. Like Kidd, once he got into the playoffs, where it becomes a coaching chess match, he was badly outplayed.

I think we can aim higher than someone who outcoached Luke and Fisher.

Mark jackson was on the corner of van nuys and Ventura preaching the good word. Noble? Sure but is that who teams want as their coach?

I like Carlisle more, but Vogel is still a good coach. His team have consistently been great defensive teams, and the Lakers have already won a championship with him.

I don't understand wanting Kidd at all. He didn't seem like a great coach in Brooklyn or Milwaukee. Kenny Atkinson would be a better option than Kidd if Vogel doesn't stay.

From what I saw our offense isn't great.
However it does generate some pretty good looks.
I feel like our players were really horrible in making open jumpers.
Would love for Coach Frank to implement a more efficient half court O.

If we end up going with Kidd next summer instead of going after Carlisle this summer then we will pay for it like we payed for Scott and Walton.

How can the Lakers trade for lillard? I think teams now need 3 superstars so that even if 1 of them goes down, they will still have 2.

Hopefully Kidd gets one of the current NBA head coach openings just so he doesn't end up as Lakers' coach in the future.

He's the top assistant coach for this team. He's probably part of the Lakers' problems on offense.

I still think it's the players at the end of the day. The superstars got hurt AND the role players went ice cold.

Get Carlisle if you can, but just stick with Vogel otherwise. Pairing Vogel with a good offensive assistant would be nice.

Luke Walton will be in the lottery for the fifth straight year, and he’s still a head coach.

Wouldn't be enough financially.

Lillard is making 31M

KCP is making 12M
Kuzma is making 13M next season

So there's 25M you'd need to get rid of 6M more.

Isn't Dame going to be $40M+? Or is this some BYC rule?

If Lakers send out $26M they can take in $32.6M. 125% + 100,000.
But anyway, Dame is getting $40M next year with his extension. So yea, trade won't work?

Can you even send out THT in a multi player sign and trade?

We'd have to re-sign THT first.

I remember being pretty unhappy the Lakers didn't jump on Kemba instead of waiting on KL. Makes Green (and DS) look like a better move. Have to wonder if there are any other moves made with these parts.

Brad Stevens lets us know what he thinks of Kemba Walker. I don't know that much about Moses Brown. Is he a hot prospect?

For #Celtics fans who don’t remember. Moses Brown is the dude who grabbed 19 rebounds in the FIRST HALF against Boston in March. He’s a solid center prospect.

Boston Celtics get out from under the last two years of Kemba’s contract, but take on last two years of nearly as bad Al Horford deal β€” and have to give up a first-round pick.
