That's true. At least Pelinka would have no valuable assets left to throw away next off season so I don't mind him staying on the payroll. Pelicans are popping champaigne right now. |

lol that's depressing |
Us being .500 sucks, early injuries and only 3 returning players from last year cost us some games we should have won. I also feel there is no easy games for the Lakers, we seems to get all the teams best shot every game we play. My hope is as the schedule gets tougher is wont be too much difference from games we already played so far, since ordinary players from poor team becomes super human when they play us. |

Low point, nothing but up from here, still a chance with a healthy trio |

I would take him over Bazemore all day .. every day. |
The hate Bazemore gets on this board is hilarious.
He is a:
1. minimum salary guy
2. One of our best defenders at the 2 (i know not saying much)
3. Is a guy who benefits from a good system--which we sporadically run.
Kemba is a horrific defender who can't get to the rim anymore. His 3 point shooting is as anomalously high as Bazemore's is low. You think he's gonna come here and shoot 40%? We have enough undersized guards making rim protection life hell for Anthony Davis. |
No need to tell me what kind of value Bazemore brings, I was excited we signed him but it just hasn’t worked out so far, he was actually doing solid when the season started playing defense and hitting the corner 3 then for whatever reason fell off the cliff in terms of level of play, at least Kemba gives us another potential weapon off the bench especially if we send out THT and Nunn in a trade this season. |
The Lakers don’t need another undersized guard who can’t play defense. Kemba is just another former name player people are familiar with…same as Bradley and Jordan. |

I hadn’t looked up the stats, but it occurred to me that we’ve played OKC x 2, Houston x 2, Sacramento x 2 (as of tonight), Indiana, and Cleveland. We’re just missing Orlando and New Orleans. If this was NBA bingo, we’d be a winner. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

Watching the GS vs Suns game and they both play beautiful and disciplined basketball. Gary Payton is playing great...still don't know why some teams passed on him. Is he the new IT? |

He wasn’t set up “run the team”. Still just 21. Remember this story with BI, DLO, Randle, Lonzo, etc. Don’t expect Magic Johnson from pick 46. He’s not a finished product yet. He’s stuck Kuzma role. Needs to find his midrange and 3 ball. But yeah, a little too much Devon George for my liking. |

Quiz. Who is the player the Warriors waived to make room for GP 2nd?
Our very own Avery Bradley. GP2 is basically giving 15 minutes of Caruso level impact. Unreal this FO. _________________ KOBE |

To be fair, the guy has only played 80 games in his entire NBA career. |

So the Bulls and Heat lose second round picks for tampering with Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry. That’s actually sort of light. The Bucks got the same punishment even though they didn’t sign Bogdanovic, _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

Agreed. In fact, if the price of getting a complicated deal done within hours of free agency starting—allowing me to more quickly pursue other free agents—is a late second rounder? Yea sign me up. |

The league has effectively set a (low) price point for the common practice of ignoring the free agent opening date. I'm not sure you can blame them though. You really can't enforce this stuff, especially when Players can conduct that type of "business" at any point so long as they don't invite or include team personnel. |
