They probably save 150k to 300k by not replacing her.

No continuity in Lakerland

It's a dysfunctional Mom/Pop disorganization.

Mom and Pop organizations are usually loyal to their rank and file staff.

Exactly - the Lakers are Mom Pop only at the very top.

Jeanie/two bros/Rambii/Tim and some advisors like Magic/Phil.

Everyone else is expendable, and I think Pelinka knowing this always throws everyone else under the bus - from players to coaches. In Pelinka's reign he has already been through an executive above him, and 2 coaches below him. In just a few years where the Lakers even won a title. That's crazy when you think about it. Then think about the title team, how it was dismantled. No loyalty or consistency at all. Important guys that won you the title (Dwight, Rondo, Green) didn't even get a chance to repeat. How many teams do stuff like that?

The medical staff has been a joke for ages. We keep changing trainers and the medical staff just like we do head coaches and assistants. Heck, why did they let go of Hollins? He was a strong voice and was a leader of a physical Grizzlies team. With Kidd leaving to get a HC job, why just break up the assistants that helped Frank lead his team completely?

It's become very obvious the lack of consistency.

I wish there was another Steve Ballmer or Mark Cuban out there.
Not penny pinching, nepotism ridden organizations.

don't need to look further. some of the Laker minority owners fit those bills, but they're not interested in running a franchise.

Frankly we have no idea what the ownership contracts are, what the minority owners are required to contribute, et etc. But at the end of the day, if a minority owner - or another bidder - wanted to own LAL, they'd have to make the Buss family an absurd offer.

We'll never be rid of them. Probably not the worst idea to just sell out to Rich Paul and let him drive guys here year in year out. Occasionally it will work, many times it won't. When it works, ring; when it doesn't, pain and national embarrassment. Just don't get so invested -- that way you can always bask in the shine of the former and just ignore the shame of the latter.

I wouldn't even say it leads to a ring even if it works occasionally.

Rich Paul only gives you a ring because Klutch was able to pair stars with lebron james, who is a top 3 player of all time.

Klutch is more likely to pair an AD-comparable star with someone like trae young/dejonte murray once lebron is gone.

That kind of duo gets you more trips to cancun rather than the nba finals if at all.

Regardless, that's still a better chance than whatever jeannie and the current FO could produce over time.

For now, the Lakers will reportedly not be replacing Seto with anyone in that position (and whether the position is altogether eliminated moving forward or not, we don’t know).

Hahahahahahaha!

AD’s yearly injury will now last twice as long next season just so Jeanie could save some cash!

They could have Jesus be the head of the Lakers training staff and AD will still miss significant months with injuries. AD is just a walking injury machine.
