Voting is likely really lazy; they probably just run down the standings and pick the player with the best stats for that week. I can imagine the votes are submitted minutes before they're due on Sunday night or something.

As a two-way player, AD is the best in the league. At Center, this year he's been up there with Embiid and Jokic. But in terms of offensive AND defensive ability combined? He's been better than them both.
