That call was correct. When Purdy's arm started forward his hand was empty. That was a fumble. They missed the pass completion. The Eagles knew it was incomplete that's why they hurried up to get a play off before a challenge flag could be thrown. The Niners defense is holding the fort. |
Couldnāt disagree more. As I said, the physics of the ball movement prove it was moving forward. And what the Eagle players think is moot. Of course theyāre going to see it as a fumble. |

Iāve seen the replays. Not going to belabor the obvious point other than reiterating that the ball wouldnāt have moved forward and been hit by the follow through if forward motion hadnāt started. Itās basic physics. |

Niners ran into the injury goblins. Some good will come of this. Purdy has shown he can be a possible starter. Injuries are playing a huge part in the playoffs. If Mahomes ankle isn't well enough the Chiefs will suffer.

These officials are pathetic. They let Eagles player just continue to grab and pull the Niners facemask without a flag, of course one of the Niners is going to lose it. Thatās not to excuse Williams throwing the guy to the ground, but it doesnāt happen if the refs actually do their job.

Maybe the only way to beat the Eagles is to run the football. The Chiefs can't really do that, but the Bengals do have Joe Mixon.
I really don't want the Eagles to win the Super Bowl because of how terrible and vicious Philly sports fans are. They're the worst fans in the nation. |
