We aren't burning anything with the day rest in between. The win is good enough.

I think he does better with regular reps.

They’ll still be tired. Their setup guy has thrown like 37 pitches in LA, plus we’ve gotten another look at their arms. An absolute win.

Bellinger finally remembering how to hit couldn't have come at a better time in the season.

Great game. Series should have been over today but game 5 is ours anyways.

Its funny watching a power hitter choking up on the bat as much as he is doing. Then again the most complete player of the 90s used to do it

Now we just need JT to remember he’s a postseason hero and go 4/4 next game

I dont get going with Treinen here when the game was pretty much in had. Wouldnt it have made more sense to save him for game 5 so he is rested enough for multiple innings?

Yup, that HR allowed us to not use Kenley. That might be important for game 5.

In hindsight, sure. But the giants have made late inning comebacks a habit and I think we wanted to just shut that door with our best arm

Yep. Better safe than sorry...especially against those guys this season. I say this season because they're not capturing this lightning in a bottle season again.

ChickNStu probably losing his mind right now on the tennis courts.

I got home to watch the 9th inning. Heard the bottom of the 7th through top of the 9th on the radio on the drive home. Was looking at my phone throughout the night on changeovers.

I'd disagree. Plus, they say the more times you see a reliever, the better the ABs become. So them bringing in all their relievers and allowing the Dodgers to see them again helps. Every little thing matters for game 5.
