Which is the most memorable?

This one felt like the most stressful for me, and the weirdest.

Good for you!

3 showtime (85, 87, 88), 3 Shaq/Kobe (00,01,02), 2 Kobe/Pau (09,10), and now Bron/AD (20): total of NINE 'SHIPS

They were all great, though 2001 and this one were IMHO the easiest

Go Lakers

Can speak for him, but as someone in the same shoes, it was magic and the lakers beating bird and the Celtics.

I can safely state that I've never seen the lakers play as good a D as this years group! Coop was great, Meta was great, but man, this time around, I gotta give it to Vogel!

I still remember game 7 vs Boston like yesterday. That validated Kobe as the GOAT for me.

This one welcomed LBJ to to the family

Same here, started it all with Cap, Magic, and Coach Paul Westhead — tonight was a special one that’s for sure.

I go all the way back and fondly remember the 71 - 72 Wilt/West Championship (and, of course, all the titles since).

That game 7 we had in 2010 with Boston was really tense. I remember sitting on the floor in front of the tv for that one because I just couldn't get close enough to the tv. What a game that way, but the pathway didn't seem as arduous as this one did. I remember in the first round they were saying we'd be swept! Dame was supposed to take us to school!

I've seen the team win 9 titles, and this was the most stressful for me, as well.

1988 Game 7 and 2010 Game 7 were the most stressful, fortunately they turned out in favor of the purple and gold.

12 for me
In 1972 I was almost 10 when they won - Wilt, Jerry, and Gail

I still think 1980 was the best - Magic starting at center, playing all 5 positions...showtime was brand new and incredibly fast compared to "old style" basketball

I go back to the 72 Championship too. And I know I’m an old geezer.

First in LA, with Wilt , West and my “hero” Goodrich. I actually got to visit a practice and had West, Goodrich and others rebounding our shots and giving us pointers. Still remember how huge a man Wilt was when he shook our hands. At one point I had a ball from one of the later wins from the 33 game streak. Great memories that built a foundation of a life long Laker fan.

Every one of the championships I’ve seen since 1972 has a story and players I loved to watch play.

This one is especially sweet though. Because I never “felt “ it was possible. Simply didn’t think the team could gel together in one year or they could get through four series without running out of gas or just running into a hot team.

Glad they proved me wrong!

So proud of the team and as happy for them as any of the teams and players from all the other championship teams. Celebrate my fellow fans. One hell of a ride!!!

Been through most of the Showtime era, Shaq/Kobe era, Kobe/Gasol era, and now LBJ/AD. Most memorable was the 84-85 chip where they won in the Garden. The second most memorable is the 2010 chip again against Boston.

Out of all the championships, this year's was just not emotionally taxing to me. There was no one really to hate on the Heat. In the 80's I hated the Celtics and the Pistons. I hated Jalen Rose and Reggie Miller. I hated Mike Bibby and Webber. I hated AI. I hated Jason Kidd. I loved Kobe getting his first without Shaq. I really hated KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen. I couldn't hate Jimmy Butler or Bam this year for some reason. They never gave me a reason to I guess. I do love that we finally caught up to Boston and I am looking forward to #18 to finally shut all of them up!!!

Ditto for me. I still have one of those T-shirt’s from the Showtime era in my closet... can’t fit into it, lol, but I was a skinny teenager back then.

I’m old enough to have rooted for the 1972 championship. I was just a little kid, but I’ve been around to see all 12 Los Angeles titles too. Finally got over the hump the year we won 33 straight games.
