This. No AD. No Kuz. No LeBron. Drummond in foul trouble. |

I think Gasol works great with the second team as a playmaker. No need to
sit him... |
The Heat plays small, but I hope Vogel recognizes the potential of the Harrell/Gasol pairing against other teams. |
If Drummond was still out, Vogel would’ve played Marc anyway even against a small Heat team. He could let the Heat try and play “big” against LA instead of Lakers having to play small. _________________ |

Gasol strained his hammy during the Raptors game
that's why he didn't play against the Heat or Nets _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

I'm hoping that Vogel still goes with his Gasol (5) and Harrell (4) lineup. I hope he hasn't swayed from trying that. Harrell has proven that he can thrive next to someone that can even decently pass the ball. |

Kieff is also playing too well to DNP-CD. interesting choices for Vogel. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I am surprised we haven't at least seen it experimented with when we've been dealing with injuries. Even if just for a short experimental stint. Given the team's lack of practices I'd imagine it hasn't even been used much in practice. |

Like you, I thought that it would have been looked at with the injuries.
Maybe the team doesn't want to get too cute at a very make-or-break part of the season. Hopefully we see it when we're back to full.
As for balancing minutes, I'm going to venture a guess and say that Gasol will only get into the game when we run the Gasol / Harrell 4-5 lineup. Aside from that, I'd say Harrell-Kieff-Kuz at the 5, 4, and 3. |

How ironic that Vogel trusted Gasol that he can play as starter and guard other team's starting center but didn't trust him guarding the opponent's backup Center? LOL |

Dude should be playing over Harrell if Trez is going to keep playing lazy as (bleep) on defense. |

Lakers down 12, can’t make a three.
Frank decides to sub Marc with 5 mins left in game, first touch he hits a 3, Marc then steals the ball leading to a Morris layup, Lakers go on a 7-0 run in a min to cut deficit down to just 5. Frank calls timeout and sits Marc down for Drummond who then turns the ball over killing any little momentum _________________ |

Frank is the dumbest smart person I know of sometimes.
Gasol should be backup 5 and Harrell backup 4. Marc stretches the floor so he isn't gonna be in Harrell's way.
Vogel literally said he'd do this... why is he NOT? _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Maybe he's not really comfortable putting Trezz at 4?? And he also don't have the balls to bench him in favor of Gasol. |

They will not get there if they are piling losses because of this (bleep) lineup. |

IMHO (or more likely in my optimistic wishful thinking) Frank is managing egos, and Marc is probably the one more likely to accept being benched a few games, and let the others see how much impact he has, so come playoff time Gasol will have more minutes and the other guys will be more willing to accept it and we'll win another Banner!

LOL, so the answer was putting Harrell at the 4 so instead of being eating alive by TGibson, got destroy by Julius. That's is really smart, LOL
I will had Marc played all the 4th... |

I mean, never hurts to try and see if it works.
Randle destroyed whomever was guarding him anyway, so trying it out would have been worth it. |

I think Vogel needs to start playing Gasol next to Trezz more to hide his deficiencies and also help augment the playmaking with the bench.
DNP'ing him is nonsensical, he has his limitations but his IQ is badly needed on this team. |

Gasol 18 points on 7/10 shooting with a broken finger in only 20 mins.
Will be DNP once again in the next game once Drummond comes back. _________________

The Lakers say Marc Gasol suffered a volar plate fracture to his left pinkie finger, X-rays revealed after the game. He is questionable Saturday vs. Utah.
I'm sure Gasol would choose to play through it. I mean... he already was. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
