Imo the Mavs would love 2/7 vs. Suns, if Phoenix stays 2.

The obstacle in that scenario would be that.. the Mavs would be in a play in scenario and those are a headache for good teams

But they have a pretty easy last 13 games, which they might have a 10-3 record. I think it is still the Blazers who will be in the play-in. They have the harder remaining schedule.

Not unless Mavs purposely want to be in 7th to 8th spot to avoid the Flips and the Nuggets.

not out the woods yet but I dont see us dropping to the play in seeds. Looking forward to overall seeding it would be great if the Suns can drop to the 4th slot with the Lakers 5th... we play them 1st round followed by Jazz and then Clippers/Nuggets winner

We will be a great shape of avoiding the play-in as long as we don't (bleep) the bed the next few games until AD is back and we have a shot to win the tiebreaker against Dallas, Denver, and Portland with AD and possibly with Bron as well.

Ya, that didn't look good. This condensed schedule is wearing people out.

Looked like the ligaments on the outside gave way. Hope I'm completely wrong.

This is the time they could have use Gary Harris, but they trade him for Aaron Gordon. Now it's up to Monte Morris to fill up the shoes Murray left.

Murray has torn ACL. Likely Denver drops, and Lakers Portland vie for 4 and 5. So we could face Portland in Round 1 again, Phoenix Round 2, and Utah or Clippers in WCF. One possible path back to the Finals.

First thought that came. The conference finalists really didn’t get a fair shake tbh.

We make fun of the celtics, but they must be exhausted. Miami has had their issues. Lakers have had their 2 stars miss a ton of games and it seems someone is always hurt. Even KCP didn’t look right 1st half of season.

Murray out for the season with torn ACL (and that's not good, sorry for him and the Nuggets).

However, that eliminates one of our threats, as well as a nemesis team for the Clippers. Either way, I'm sorry to hear about Murray.

With Murray out, they will slide. I think Lakers/Portland will end up 4 and 5. This sucks cause I was banking on the Clippers losing in the first rd this year if they get either Denver/Portland or Lakers.

Clippers would destroy Portland. Bad matchup for Dame/CJ.

Clippers did catch a break with this Nuggets news. Feel like the Nuggets are their worst matchup. Utah might give the Clippers problems but their shooting has to hold up.
