Steph balling out today.

There's obviously more to it than that, as the Ws will get two chances to get into the playoffs vs single elimination if they lose today, but it's fun to see Steph do his thing.

Heart of a champion. He'll look great in P+G in a few years.

Having said all that- can't wait to see the Lakers beat the Ws down by 30 points on Wed.

I don’t think ducking applies for the play-in teams.

You want to secure 2 chances no matter the opponent. Just in case...

nonsense. Two chances to get one W is a whole lot better than having to win BOTH play-in games..that's all the warriors are doing. It has absolutely nothing to do with "ducking" or "not ducking" the Lakers,

If you are the Lakers you can't let Steph shoot 36 times. If you are going to get beat then force Draymond, Bazemore, Wiggins, Poole to beat you.

He can shoot 36 times, just can’t be wide open looks or in rhythm shots that Grizzlies are allowing.

Steph is playing close to the best basketball of his career, at a super super high level.

But the team is lacking in offensive options.

So your goal is communication and switching during picks, and always attach a body to steph behind 3 point line.

I don’t see us having really a big problem even though it is one game series.

Since we can stifle warriors offensive by limiting steph, and they have no ways to stop us.

Steph "balling out" has more to do with his ego than facing the Lakers. He won his scoring title by overshooting. So for him, his season is complete.

How the f can you overshoot when you are shooting 66% TS?

His shooting percentage is higher than Shaq and he's shooting from 30 feet away...

It's actually a crime for someone else to shoot when someone is that efficient.

Clearly the move is Anthony Davis at Center and then you can switch everything with much more ease. I expect Drummond to start, but hopefully we get plenty at AD center minutes.

And they won’t. The Lakers are best equipped to make life miserable for Steph.

Having said that, Caruso needs to be healthy.

We need Schroder, KCP and AC taking turns, giving different looks, etc.

The Lakers could because out of 36 shots, he’d only make 9 or 10 against them. I’m sure Denver will win tonight anyway so it’ll be a moot point but a Lakers/Warriors game would be a blowout.

At least GSW will give the Lakers a good game to prepare them for the playoffs. Lakers really do need it.

WOJ said the Nuggets are expected to limit the minutes of key players tonight. They are tanking it sounds like. While the Blazers will probably go all out.

I keep hearing folks on this site say we got guards we can throw at Steph and control him. There's no controlling that guy right now. We just gotta contain the rest of the team. Steph is playing from another universe right now. There's no way to stop a guy shooting from damn near half court.

You're right.
Plus he plays a lot without the ball, he's always moving, while setting and getting screens.
And his two men games with Draymond are beatiful to watch and a nightmare to defend.

You're comparing the other teams against the defending champ. Just because the other teams couldn't contain Curry doesn't mean the Lakers wouldn't be able to either. If we can't beat an 8th seed, then we definitely don't deserve to repeat.

There's a lot more to the game than just Curry. How are they gonna stop Lebron and AD? Is Curry gonna score 80 points to keep up?

I'm just talking about Steph. There's nobody on our team that can slow him down. Whether or not we beat them is another story. Even if we don't we get another game to get into the playoffs. Personally, I think a lot of Laker fans are in for a surprise if they think beating them is going to be easy. People underestimate Steph and I don't know why. I guess it's better to be underestimated than overrated.

If we can't slow him down, then just let him have his 60 points. We're still gonna win the game because we have just way too much talent. So slowing him down or not is irrelevant as long as we win the game. Who else do they have on that team anyways other than Draymond?

Steph’s good but Schroeder and Caruso will make him work and even if he gets 60, that won’t be nearly enough. Oubre is out so they have no one to guard Lebron, and AD will run a layup/dunk drill on their entire front line.

Not worried about them at all.
