Been to few Clippers home games where they faced the Jazz. (Discounted tickets and normally they were on boring tuesdays or Wednesdays where it was nothing better to do type of situations)

Jazz fans definitely seem to make the commute without hesitation. ( I ALWAYS WEAR LAKERS GEAR ESPECIALLY CHAMPIONSHIP HATS ,SHIRTS EXT. love the look at Jazz fans when they come into Staples feeling good about their chances against the Clippers but seeing my Lakers championship gear gives em that sharp reminder we own them as well 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I might take the wifey out dripped up in Lakers gear to Shaquille’s Restaurant at LA Live during game 3 just troll 😈😈😈😈😈

HAHA, now that's an idea!

Way too early again roger.

LOL! In the playoffs, this is Roger_Federer's Clipper prediction record after tonight... 4-5.

In Roger's defense...I'm 90% certain earlier this year he posted (not sure if he was serious or no) that he has only been following bball for like 5 years?

Bottomline is, as you know Runway, players talk about their legs getting tired and saving energy for the 4th all the time (I listened to a ton of Kobe talking about that). So when you gotta push back soooo much and fall down 20+, while you may get away with it if your opponent is, say, the Pistons. The Jazz, at their place, with a revved up a crowd? Yea, maybe you go on a 25-0 run...but you're gonna be gassed.

This is my 5th season. I have predicted Clips to beat MAVS after 0-2 and I still think they will beat Jazz. I think they figured something on how to guard them in 2nd half. They did something similar in MAVS series too.

Most importantly Mitchell is limping and so was Bogdan. Conley must be fit ASAP

I think you are severely underrating the Jazz. They are a better team than the Mavs, up and down that roster. I mean, I think you said Clips in 5. That isnt happening. Maybe they win in 6, or 7...but this is a vastly different challenge for them.

Probably two of the bigger issues: 1. Jazz are a better defensive team 2. Unlike the Mavs (who shot uncharacteristically well from 3 in their wins), Jazz are a very, very good 3 shooting team. They also have JC who is a total X factor.

Meanwhile, the Clips defense seems very average to me in this playoffs. They seem to be able to put together maybe a good quarter, and that's it.

Anyway, we shall see.

Did I say 5? dont remember that.

but i do agree that I didn't expect Jazz to be shooting this well. They hardly drive. have to see what they do when 3 stops falling

Jazz will have to at least take one game in LA and step on their necks. Something the Mavs couldn't do. The longer the series goes, the greater the chance of seeing Kawhi Jordan appear again.

The way Jackson is playing Rajon might not get anymore burn for the rest of the season.

Watching Boogie struggle makes me feel a little better that we didn’t go after him again.

I don’t think we got a workout with Tatum.

Either way Jayson, Donovan , and Deaaron would be in New Orleans right now

If you have Tatum, we didn't need to send so many other guys and picks.

Nets vs Clips finals. If harden doesnt comeback, clips will win it all

Way too early call roger. Opponent goes 0-21 Clips should be up 20+. They are not.

Clips playing 2nd unit a lot . Kennard scored as much as entire jazz starters.

So far clips played 11 people this game. They must feel pretty confident

I thought you were referring to the Clips here when you said in 5 Rog.

This I do agree with. While Jazz will have homecourt, it is hard to bet against KL in a game 7. If he gets hot...well, we saw that vs the Mavs. Was ridic.

Right now the Clippers are battling history. No team that has gone down 2-0 in two consecutive series has come back to win the second series.

Really? DC seems like a hothead to me tho, I mean just poke him with some words or with what he perceives as disrespect and he seems to lose it.

Remember back when Randall was a Laker and I believe he hit a 3 v the Kings with DC guarding him to win the game? [either that or he drove and scored at end of the game]. Julius was celebrating and DC got his panties in a knot and started coming up like "hey man, dont disrespect me..."

I dont think that temper has changed.

Yep. Dirty play.

I missed the game, but saw this on the TL.

So they tried to injure Luka. Now doing the same with Mitchell. That might be the only way they win

Next round it could be Crowder trying to injure Kawhi while Beverly tries to take out Booker.

Clippers suck!! Their franchise sucks and they haven’t won Jack squat. PG is overrated, Kawhi is a mute savant….
I would be embarrassed to ever say I am a Clipper fan, especially in a Lakers city.

Mitchell is the one that really stands out to me just because of the story around him. If memory serves, he had an injury in college so fell in draft rankings. I remember hearing Jazz were elated to get him.

He then went off big time in Summer league. Rest is history.

Nets v Bucks: Feels like Nets will take game 4.

Clips v Jazz: Hard to bet against the Clips for game 3 as this is really a desperation game for them (as will game 4, regardless). Team with that type of talent typically takes that game 3 if down 0-2. IMO Alot will depend on whether the Clips get up on the Jazz early. If they do not - and it remains close throughout - don't be surprised to see Jazz pull that one out. I actually think Snyder has been outcoaching Lue for the most part, and that's what that may come down to.

Let’s hope they don’t pull it off. Generally when a losing franchise finally breaks through it’s on bizarre (bleep) like that.

We need a hothead like Rondo... nothing was worse than watching them go down passively. Schroder has some of that fighting spirit but he's just not a great player. If Boogie could regain some of his form he could light a fire under the rest of them.

You'd still have had to send Ingram and Tatum. You aren't getting Anthony Davis without them both, sorry.

Tatum at the end of the 2018-2019 season was a 15.7 PPG scorer, Ingram at the end of it was an 18.3 PPG scorer and a lot of posters were talking about "lol they said Tatum is better than Ingram"

A lot of revisionist people acting like Tatum was playing the way he played this year back in 2018-2019. He wasn't. And he'd have gotten traded for Davis without a second thought. Lakers were in "win now" mode and both Ingram and Tatum they'd have felt were 2 seasons away. Sorry to say, you'd just be watching Tatum and Ingram in New Orleans instead of Ingram and Ball.
